Hyolyn really love SISTAR members. Do check out her collab with Dasom SUMMERXSUMMER MV, how she encourage Dasom to be confident in her singing. She truly support her sisters to be better by giving them more parts, just like what she did again here with Bora❤ She’s an angel. Please stop paint her as an evil one in their disbandment. Fans were into the summer vibe concepts. When Hyolyn left to pursue solo she changed concepts in her solo career. Problem is that her solo doesn't get her really fans because they all want SISTAR back (thats why she was on QUEENDOM too bc its all about promoting yourself). People don't support the solo really they just want SISTAR back thats why she doesn't have insane sales or streams because she doesn't have so many fans. Majority says that leaving SISTAR and making them disband to pursue solo was a mistake and should have never happened.

@jessicarvalho13 LONG AF POST INCOMING - mb 🤣😭 I see the person under you said it's about her leaving SISTAR, but that's not the only reason or even the main reason. Too many K-fans were always awful to Hyolyn, calling her dark and ugly and blah blah blah. And this was DURING her still being with SISTAR. The reason they disbanded was because the girls had an agreement (which was rare in kpop at the time, and still is) that if one of them ever wanted to leave - they'd all leave at the same time. They didn't want to continue as a trio or with a new member, it was all of them or nothing -they loved each other as a group that much. The one who chose to leave WAS Hyolyn, so there definitely was some animosity towards her by SOME fans for being the one to pull the plug, but the girls wanted it to go down the way it did - they did NOT want to continue SISTAR as a trio or with a new member. At the very end of SISTAR's run, and afterward, Hyorin's main K-netizen hate came from her tattoo and sexy persona/performances. She was the first female kpop megastar, and one of the first overall, to have such a noticeable tattoo that she didn't choose to hide unless forced to by TV stations or programs. But at festivals, college campuses, MVs, on Instagram, etc etc, she wouldn't hide it. Then, with Dally, she really took a huge jump in not only expanding outside of SK, but in how sexual her outfits/choreo was. The final nail in the coffin was when she performed Dally at an award show for dramas. The biggest complaint was that it wasn't the place for Dally to be performed - especially with the outfit she wore. Think of it as Cardi B and Meg performing WAP at the Emmys vs. the MTV Music Awards. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's a bit out of place. My big issue with it was that THEY INVITED HER, and they KNEW what she was going to perform. Yet they acted like she got up there in a gstring and pasties and grinded on another person's back or something lol. It's almost like they set her up, they invited her and saw her set and her practices, but then after she performs they all freak out and the same people who invited her and knew it was coming turned on her and didn't protect/defend her. And then if you throw all the normal "oh she's ugly" and "oh she's too dark" hate she continues to get from K-netizens on top of everything, it just really pisses me off she has to deal with it all. She has posted multiple vlogs talking about how sad she has gotten at times, and it's so heartbreaking. We can all see how talented and hard-working she is, yet some knetizens judge her on the meanest most stupid things.

Omggg Our mothers are back 😫 I love that that they didn't filter away Hyolyn's beautiful and natural tan. She was never the "lightest" idol but was always filtered or made to look paler than she really was, and it always tragically washed her out! Took a few decades but we're finally seeing some acceptance in k media for skin tones other than pale skin! 💖💗🙌
