Color on the L30 is excellent, easier to see everything, details are easily discernable. Folks underestimate this in a hunting situation for both small and large game in a camo environment. Nice job man,thank you.

On Amazon, the description of the Acebeam states "Turbo extreme mode 1.5 hour , with non-diminishing". Is this true? The light stays on TURBO until the battery is depleted? I was thinking of using this as a bike light. I never saw a light that can stay on turbo for very long. If true, this light would be great for nighttime trail riding.

Opening the rubber tab of charging port of L30 completely exposes the led head. Infact the light can be seen from the port itself, once the tab is open and the flashlight is on. Given the fact that it is prone to opening up quite often. Not sure if the 5m depth rating wud be advisable.

That is an incredibly valid point! I do not know for certain, but I would certainly not be comfortable with any water or even humidity entering that port!!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting my friend!!!

I carry the L30 on a semi regular basis, and have used it in the rain... but would be nervous doing a dunk test with it. I know it sounds weird, but I personally use my nose oil on the USB covers... it seems to keep them in good shape and they make that little suction noise when I open the cover. ymmv obviously.

The toecap needs to be yellow or orange for better visibility. Ideally it should be phosphorised for night-time. Belt clip and firefly mode both very useful. Recessed power switches are unpractical as hard to use with gloves and find in the dark. Sould protrude and have a phosphorised dot. Belt clip should mount on the end-cap body and be removable. Handle should have neoprene sleeve for comfort. All viable points to consider.

If you don't like the rubber tab on the charging port you can always shave them off to make them flat with a sharp knife, I did that but now regret it as I need to use a knife or a pin to lift it up

Hey, so I just received my thrower Astrolux C8 and bought a Samsung INR 18650-30Q 3000MaH and a Klarus XT2CR with klarus 3600MaH rechargeabld battery, so my question is if I can charge the samsung battery while it's in the klarus and have the USB connected to the klarus? Thanks

If I could I would get every conceivable rechargeable light. I don’t really worry about the size of edc since I only wear basketball shorts. I’d get both but in the middle of job transition so ordering the acebeam L30. I may not care about size but I do care about heat and you said the xt was hotter. Don’t want it to cook my huevos when I put it back in my pocket after use.

@@lightitup1128 Thanks man, i am also, i think they listened to ME, they added a 1k lumen mode, so it doesnt have a massive jump from 400lms to 4000lms.but i think the light will be $140, i hope its cheaper.
