Nice one bud..I have XT21X and XT11GT, luv it bcos of the dual tail switch thats the main thing it allows me to switch to strobe intantlt..Getting the XT11X soon😋

I had multiple tail cap failures on the XT11X, mostly it is the inner ring inside the tail cap coming loose, which you can tighten with needle nose pliers. IT will come loose again no matter what though. The side switch on my XT21X failed after about 4 months, but the tail switch has none of the issues of its predecessors. However, the tail cap itself comes ever so slightly loose which you don't even notice, but unless it is locked extremely tight the paddle switch will not allow you to change the light out of turbo mode. Great lights and tactical features, let down by dodgy switches/buttons. I own many Klarus lights, and many others in general. As for the deep carry clips, it's good for EDC but for tactical use you want it the way they have it for super fast accessibility. You can grab it and have your thumb straight on that tail switch in one motion, and you just can't do it very well with deep carry clips. When seconds count, you won't appreciate that small difference until then.

Well..Been searching for another light been considering Olight Seeker 2 Pro..But again bud after watching this vdeo again Klarus is the winner in terms of the body design & the dual tail switch and it wins over thrunite which also have the dual tail Switch but in terms of body design Klarus wins it all..So Klarus is my top Favourite and hey it reaches Singapore😀Thx again brotha for the review😀

I was comparing specs on the Klarus website between the XT12S-1600LM-18650 light (that I own and EDC) and the XT21X... calculating the pros/cons, lumens vs size/weight and noticed the illumination range spec was not as prominent on the XT21X page, with the only mention of range (316 meters) on the lower right of the main photo ad. No mention of range in the Features or Specs while the spec for the XT12S is at the top of the main photo ad (402 meters), pressing the arrow to scroll right, the next photo ad is dedicated to the lumen spec and the range spec. The spec is again listed on in a photo ad, 4 Lighting Levels/ ANSI spec showing Bean Distance 402m [on turbo] as well as being listed below the photo ads in the Features section. Curiously the XT11X does not list the range at all making me wonder if that is an oversight by the marketing dept. or is the range of the XT11X so bad they don't want to talk about it ??

You have done your homework my friend! The XT12S absolutely out throws the XT21X! The XT12S was intended to be more on the "throwy" side! It's intensity or candela is rated at nearly double that of the XT21X. The throw on both Klarus' XT21X and XT11X are almost identical. Their heads are literally the same diameter, they use the a similar textured orange peel reflector and the same led's. I personally believe that the XT21X was designed simply to Outlast, in terms of runtimes the XT11X. You may have very well found a flaw in Klarus' marketing methods. I hope this information helps! Battery life is of little concern for me, my utility light is a FourSevens Preon Penlight in a shirt pocket, the XT12S is for more serious encounters, so the battery is always at 100%... still I keep three spare batteries, one each at work, in the car, & at home. Being the lumen addict that I am though, the XT21X's 4000 LM causes my geek boner to tingle.

Yes! I'm very curious because the XT21X and XT11GT are both spec'd at 316 meters. I'm wondering if the difference in lumens, size and weight is really worth the price. The 10 lumen low mode of the XT11GT seems low enough for me.

I have both but the XT11 is a more versatile light for me . It can use CR123 batteries in a pinch . I also use it as a charger for my 16650 batteries that I use in other flashlights that are not rechargable in place of CR123s. Both are excellent lights with different roles for me .

can you please explain to me why my rubber tail switch in the center of the light controls my strobe and my side switch controls my momentary on and off? how can I get these switched back to your settings?

Disappointed with the brightness. For such massive upgrade to size and weight, I would want more brightness. Even tho I am getting more run-time, not good enough and doesn't justify buying a new torch for no brightness upgrade. I love Klarus torches, but this one not so much.

ALL these flashlight companies making micro usb are falling behind..will not buy a micro rechargeable flashlight...hold out boys dont pull the trigger....we are on the cusp of the changeover to usb C ..

@@nq3052 I see the advantages of faster charging and easy plug alignment, but I don't think it addresses the issue most people have with USB charging a flashlight ... having a rubber cap protecting a port from the ingress of water. Magnetic charging seems like the way to go.

Doesn't matter how the flashlight charges because it's not wise to charge the batteries that way..... best to have a better & more advanced battery charger, that charges several type of batteries
