i have a question. my lumintop prince just went out today, it comes on only on moonlight, the flashlight only had low medium and high and worked flawlessly for the last four years. do i need to replace the led ? i dont know what i need to replace. if i short out the battery to the body it comes on on that super low output

Isn’t the light gonna get super hot though when you put it directly on the machine that’s reading the lumens? Because if you have it right against something there’s not gonna be as much heat dissipation there would be if you just had it in your hand pointing out into open air.seems like it wouldn’t drop down as much as it does when you have it right up against some thing because the very front of the light is going to be causing all the heat to go backwards instead of forwards.

My amateur understanding: Delta u,v is the distance of the light from the black body curve. Positive duv = more green/ yellow, negative duv = more red/ magenta. Using duv and CCT (color temperature) values you can estimate the tint of the light.

Yeah that light doesn’t keep regulated output for at least 2 min. Sucks because it looks like an awesome light

Screw this gimmick trashlight that looks like it came from a late night infomercial. My Surefire Scout Pro flashlight is league's better, with 1500 lumens. Notice how this joke didn't even say what the lumens were, just that they were better? (what makes you think I'm gonna take the word of some schmuck on KZbin when my $360 flashlight does much better, when you don't even have the balls to actually say what the lumens are on your trashlight). Not all content creators actually know what they are trying to promote. This is one of those guys getting paid to plug a garbage product.
