@@klassenp1 actually in my situation I’m still having trouble getting the spline in but the strap was brilliant my strap however just broke

It's too bad that the clevis is soft aluminum and easily damaged. Hopefully you get it to work.

@@klassenp1 how much play do I have in splitting that rag joint I don’t want to crack anything

@@vincedi3244 I was thinking about that too but wasn't sure how I would do it, as there's not a lot of room under there. Drilling it out and replacing with bolts might work and that's what I was contemplating but there's no going back from that and I really didn't want to attempt it in case it didn't work. Any chance some lubricant on the splines and a new strap might work?
