@@ChampLeads Foxy was also friendly with Aaliyah. I asked her via Instagram and she said that Aaliyah was her girl. Now they clearly weren’t like best friends BUT they saw quite a bit of each other over the years. Foxy was a protege of Jay-Z, and Jay-Z was formerly friends with Damon Dash who dated Aaliyah. I’ve asked Foxy a few other times about Aaliyah, and whenever I do she always says something wonderful about her. So like I said, they weren’t sister from another mister type of pals BUT it’s clear that they we’re friends with each other to a certain extent. ALSO Foxy was one of the first artists who gave Aaliyah a shootout in a song. You might remember “Big Bad Mamma” foxy said “Rhyme deep in footwear, via Spiga Like Aaliyah, one in a million”. And mind you, this was in 1996, five years before Aaliyah died. So clearly Foxy knew that there was something about Aaliyah that was special enough for her to give a shoutout to in a song. Foxy may have been one of the first.

Im reading some of these posts and its amazing what people will say about a person that they truly know absolutely nothing about . You don't know a persons struggle, its best to listen and ponder or if you are a God fearing person pray. We, who dont know the truth about the industry, cant fathom, what they go through. A lot of them sell their souls to this and if we had a taste of it we probably wont survive. We can always say what we will and will not do looking in from the outside until we actually experince it. So we need to be careful about we what we say about a person we truely don't know. Somehow those same judgements will follow us. (We reap what we soe what we say)
