There's one thing though. I noticed it in other recorder videos on KZbin too. The recorder just seems to quiet. I don't know, if it's because the way the sound was recorded or because modern strings are far louder then their baroque predecessors. Baroque recorders are pretty much the same, as they were back then.

Its written for recorder so modification necessary. I'm always amazed Vivaldi wrote like that for recorder, he knew exactly what he was doing as the part pushes boundaries but at the same time is completely idiomatic.

Die Blockflöte ist zu unrecht verrufen. Sie klingt nur bei ungeübten Menschen schrecklich, aber wenn man am Ball bleibt, wird es irgendwann ein wunderschöner Klang.

@@Beabo0 es ist meistens so, weil die billigen Sopranflöten meistens für höchstens 30€ erworben werden können und deswegen perfekt als "anfängerinstrument" benutzt werden. Meine Klasse zum Beispiel hasst die Blockflöte, weil wir in der 5. Und 6. Klasse mit 30 Sopranflöten Stücke gespielt haben. Es war echt die Hölle

Who made the recorder? It definitely looks to be a "Denner" model in A=440 (due to modern instruments playing). But whether it was handmade or factory made... it looks to be boxwood of some kind.

They are considered to be tuned in the key of "F major," but considering that they are chromatic instruments, and it is easier to play songs on one in C or G major, that just tells you what the fingering is.
