● Well this is it. The end. The finale aired more than a month ago and I still haven't fully understood what the hell happened. We were so close. I was in shock when I read the spoilers a few days before but I still had this tiny bit of hope that we would be okay. Nope. I'm not even angry about it I'm just empty. What a waste. Klaus' death was utterly pointless and I'll never get over it.
● Since the episode aired I started multiple projects but as soon as I combined one of my chosen depressing songs with the goodbye scene I had a small meltdown. Somehow I managed to finish SOMETHING after all. This is not the video I had in mind but well, here it is.
● This won't be my last #Klaroline video ever. I still have tons of unfinished projects and ideas. Even though the finale was shit and their story could have ended so much better, there IS some kind of bittersweet poetry in Klaus' death. He promised to be Carolines last love, turned out she was his. She started off hating him and in the end he became "what she always wanted" - a good person. He was capable of being saved after all.

I'm convinced that Plec resented the popularity of Klaus and Caroline. She didn't mean for them to become the couple practically everyone watching the show wanted to get together and she, sure as hell, didn't like that they overshadowed Stelena & Delena. She only saw one good thing about Klauroline which was that we'd bring ratings, raise her numbers when they had him come back to Mystic Falls for graduation, when they had sex, the phone call, the time she went looking for him New Orleans, when she had the ending of TVD with the letter that quoted the iconic line "However long it takes," plus Alaric's voice over about that being the beginning of an entirely different story, her entire run on The Originals, and then on Legacies when they brought back the dress Klaus gave Caroline. It's all her manipulation of a ship she knows is immensely popular but not due to her design. It took on a life of its own, it didn't need anything to keep sailing strong. She can go screw herself for all I care, I just want Legacies to get cancelled so she'll be out of a job.

What I find most beautiful about the #Klaroline ending is that Caroline had truly began loving him by the time he had hours left on this world as he had loved her for many years. Despite what he has brought her and many others in the past, despite that being “the big bad wolf” would have made things much easier for her, it wasn’t easy for her to conceal how deeply she cared for him. That she loved him. They were confirmed as romantic and would have been endgame if circumstances allowed for it.

my most favorite part (well i loved all parts) is when the lyrics goes “i’m gonna miss your smile” and then shows all scenes where Caroline smiles while being with Klaus and also the part where the lyrics goes “there shouldn’t be a good in goodbyes” and all their past scenes in tvd showed up 😭😭 i literally broke down watching those 💔

I retweeted this and posted on FB but I just can't bring myself to actually watch it because I know it will make me cry. I won't be watching Legacies because I'm tired of being jerked around. Candice and Joseph have both said they won't appear on it but Julie is teasing that they will and I think that's just despicable to string us along like that. So unless I actually see that they are both DEFINITELY in an episode together, I'll be watching other things. I'll be revisiting your vids though. I LOVE them!

I haven't watched the finale again as I cried so much, this is just heartbreakingly good and just sums up their relationship and how far we have come. You summed it so perfectly and now I see that was the whole point of Caroline being the final season was about, yes we might never get over the ending but she was there for him when he needed her and in the end,​ she was his last love.

I m here because I've been waiting for you to post a video since the finale so I could truly deal with that ending (I knew you would make all that mess into something really beautiful) but now I have to confess I m a coward that can't face this right now hahaha I managed to stop moping so much but I think this may send me into another meltdown hahahahaha I will definitely watch it latter though, and I will always stay tuned for whatever you make, one of the things we can take from all this is talented people like yourself that managed to wring blood from stone with the little they gave us over the years, so thks for everything Cat!

Caroline is the best! Gorgeous! Nobody deserves it! All her "friends" hurt her. Elena, Tyler, Matt, Bonnie were worse than Klaus. They hid their monstrous insides behind a mask of virtue. Klaus has never hidden who he is. The strongest and most powerful chose Caroline. Only Caroline made the mistake of not choosing Klaus.

Why? He can love more than once, I mean she did. We know that Tyler was her first love and that she love Stefan enough to marry him, it doesn't diminish the connection she shares with Klaus. I think Camille was good for him and is an important part of his character development but Caroline is still endgame. I don't get the idea that you only love once. Supposedly the reason why Klaus and Caroline weren't more towards the end was because Julie didn't want to dishonor Stefan's memory. So if it weren't for that concept we could have had more of their relationship.

Even though some people have suspected (or read) that Joseph and Daniel both wanted the brothers to die together (I'm not sure if this is confirmed), I will never be okay with this. They really deserved better.

OH MY GAUD this is the video of them I needed. It expresses all my emotion of Klaroline and Klaus's death. I agree with everything you said and I feel the exact same way about everything. There is a poetic bittersweet ending to how Klaus dies but I wish it actually made sense and I'm still not over it and probably never be because of all the emotions this story, Klaus, and Klaroline gave me. I can't believe that we will never ever get another episode of Originals , a scene of Klaroline, and Im still recovering from TVD. This really was an epic bittersweet story , sad the writers had to f it up.
