I think that Klaus was in love with Hayley and he didn't even knew it! You can see that by how he looks at her and sometimes politely touches her and how always wanted to be by her side but Hayley didn't give him a chance because she couldn't understand him and fell quickly for Elijah just because he showed her kindness. Klaus thought that loving someone make you weak because if you care for them you are also afraid of loosing them and that could benefit his enemies. And Klaus had a lot of them! Thats why he pretended not to care at the first place.

I think he knew he was in love with her, but chose to back off not only because she liked his brother but also because he was afraid of losing her. Every time he loved someone he ended up losing them. He couldn't bear to lose Hayley, but he did eventually. and that's why he was so lost after she died, he had no idea of what to do as he always had Hayley by his side to keep him stay on the path. He carries the pain of losing her everywhere and anywhere, even cutting off his family relationship with Elijah and taking revenge upon him because he was so angry at what he did. Klaus gave him a chance to love Hayley but in the end he let her die. I don't think Klaus has ever been more devastated by anyone's death like Hayley's.

Denise 4 life i don't think he was even jelous, more like scared, he was scared his daughter would call elijah dad, not just because of elijah and hayley's bond but because klaus has a tendency to think everyone rejects him and they would always choose elijah over him because he is the better in everything and so kalus is scared that his daughter will think elijah a better father option and prefer him, he is scared of being rejected by his own daughter and all is because he is the first one who rejects himself, he is the first one who believes that really is true that elijah would be a better father than him, klaus himself is the first one to underestimate his own capacity for good and consider himself a worthless monster and all because of how mikael raised him and the things he got into his head, the damage mikael did to all his children and parcticularly klaus is terrible.

He had shown that multiple times that he didn't care for her just because she was the mother of his daughter things were not good at the first but then their growth through the seasons was beyond words. Let me give you one proof that he cared for her not just as a mother of his child When Hope was born Hayley was killed by the witches if he didn't cared about her and if he really did cared about his child at that time he would have gone to save his daughter instead of staying their but he stayed holding her and that pain in his voice when he said that "she's gone" wasn't just because she was the mother of his child and there are so many scenes she didn't try to change him but she changed his life by giving him Hope and that was the most beautiful thing happened to him in his life At the end he was the only one who was most devastated by her death deeply i mean yes Elijah felt that pain too but the way he felt that pain no one felt that the same way yeah Elijah cared for Hayley he loved her but the way Klaus cared for her and loved her without showing and admitting it was beyond words Elijah never cared for her like that

Personally I think that Klaus never loved Hayley in a romantic way but still in a family way and he was worried about Hope thinking of Elijah as a father and not him, having everybody else be hopes family and he wouldn’t be included. Meanwhile Hayley was infatuated and in love with Elijah she did not reciprocate Klaus’s family love as strong. She’s never had family so that may be a reason. Hayley never truly deeply cared about someone until Elijah... the most she ever showed her feelings to was not in a romantic way, it was the motherly love to hope. Hayley and Hope❤️

As for Rebekah and Elijah, Rebekah would agree with Klaus to hide the truth if he decide to kill Hayley, because Rebekah loves the Klaus over Hayley. Elijah would agree because Elijah loves the family over Hayley, if it mean keeping the family in peace.
