@P Mahisauria To he honest Elijah and Hayley and Klaus and Cami was more cliche than Hayley and Klaus. Elijah and Hayley happened to quickly and they weren't even fated to be together. The whole brother falling for a girl his brother has been with is cliche 101. The good sweet girl Cami falling for the big bad wolf is cliche 102. Hayley and Klaus were two people forced into a life that neither of them planned for, parenthood. That's not exactly cliche since they weren't exactly looking for love in each other. But out everyone in the series they were the most relatable. The writers did really bad by not making the only couple which made sense never happened.

The greatest crime the writers ever did in TO is intentionally sabotaging Klayley. They were perfect together and it was there no matter how hard the writers tried to be rid of it. Hayley earned her spot in Klaus’ heart and his family by providing not just Hope but all the support his family needed. The only good thing about the fifth season was finally seeing what Klaus truly thought about Hayley and the level of love, respect, and need he had for her was amazing. His speech in the white hallway was breath taking...for they were his thoughts, his feelings about Hayley not Elijahs

When klaus says "I was scared of this very moment" it reminds in the first season when Rebekah tells him its okay to want something. I think hayley dying because they loved each other is the very thing he feared most Like hayley said after her husband's death "loving any of us is a death sentence." Also davina says that hayley is the one thing klaus fears most, perhaps its because he actually loved her and that was the scariest thing to a broken niklaus.

I am so sad about Hayley’s death... I loved her character, her strength, her love, I just loved her... I loved the relation ship she had with Klaus, I think they never explored it in a romantic level because they wanted to show a family that didn’t have 2 married/together parents and that it could work, they could still care about each other.. and also I think they wanted to avoid the love triangle with two brothers like they did in TVD ... It would have to repetitive, and this show is all about family.. But with what they gave us in season 5 I wish they had explored their relation ship... they would have been beautiful ...

They could have avoided the brothers love triangle, if they never made Hayley and Elijah a couple in the first place. Did they expect Hope to call both Klaus and Elijah dad, 8f Elijah ever married Klaus. Did they expect to let Elijah live with Hayley and Hope while Klaus just visited in the weekend. I think it was wrong in the first place for Elijah to go after Hayley.

Why can't everyone see Hayley is in love with him? In one of the episodes and Hayley tells Rebekah I quote, 'even when you hate him...' back when Hayley was pregnant, she said the exact same thing. 'Even when you hate him, you still love him.' Hayley knew that Greta would go after him, if she didn't kill her. So not only did Hayley save her daughter, but she saved her former lover.

My biggest problem with The originals was that they never gave then a chance. There was potential build throughout. It annoys me that people are saying Hayley was just the mother of his child. This episode clearly shows how much Hayley meant to him. He didn't say, I should have been their for our child. He said have been there for you and Hope. If she didn't mean anything, he wouldn't have missed her or need her. He wouldn't have been so affected by her death if he didn't love her. Let's not miss that he didn't exactly forgive Elijah. He didn't hate him cause he knew that the truth would destroy him. But he never got back on good terms with Elijah.
