he just couldn't help it he had been a Lord at one point also so use to getting what he wants. u could see pain and lonliness in his eyes and he looked like he was gonna cry a lot of the time. he was a good character. he kept his word yes but i think a lot of it he was bluffing like when he knew he could save caroline he just wanted to punish her too bad he ruined it with her cuz they were hot together. The worst villain was Kai parker. i hated him worse than joffrey from game of thrones

Is it bad that I can relate to Klaus and this video so much. He is my favorite TVD character and I can understand him and relate. He hasn't had much love in his life and that lack of love leaves a void that we feel the need to feel. So we go around trying to feel something, anything, just to fill that void and feel loved. We search for family to feel like we belong to ignore the overwhelming feeling of loneliness that we feel. A feeling that leaves us just, empty because no one understands.

I started to love him even before he appeared in tvd. I mean i started to love him when Elijha appeared the show and they talked lot of scary things about him,that's the moment he became to my favorite character because i really needed a great villain to the show but he became even better villain than i thought. 10 years after this video and 5 after the end of the originals and this video STILL captures Klaus' emotional state PERFECTLY!!! I hope there could be a new video serving as a parallel of how Klaus ultimately managed to overcome his loneliness,anger,paranoia,fear of abandonement and need for control for his family and daughter. How he managed to show that he's a person who loves deeply and has,in the end, people sitting around a table stories about a man that COULD love PS. Klaus' character wouldn't be so amazing if it weren't for Joseph's outstanding talent!!!

Pure evil or greatly misunderstood, for far too lost and long this story goes when there is always more than the naked a eye can see... I believe hes been torn and deeply hurt admitting his wrongs between all the lies hidden and being committed to a tragic insane asylum that has been created throughout the begining of his time of all hes been caught up in and how you see him today whether good or bad. Sometimes you have to look at it from another set of eyes, so to speak of all the damage and pain that has followed him in the long run. 💔

i totally agree with you! there is a very thin line between pure evil and greatly misunderstood! everyone believes him to be the big bad wolf and if no one gives you a chance to prove the opposite you just start to act like what people think of you. yes, mikael wasnt the best father to klaus' sibling either but it was different with klaus and that leaves marks on a human and those show up!
