Dude is one of those guys you NEED on your team to win, he’s been one of the focal points for this team since I was a kid (Im a Bulls Fan lol) and honestly changed the position of power forward and was one of the reasons for the small ball surge in the nba over the last 6-7 years (outside of the Miami Heat). What needed to be said, from someone that's been to therapy over the years: "Bro, every one of us is able to perform at the highest level because we tap into a certain fire inside. And the thing is, for most of us, no one really knows the origin of that personal fire. However, I fear that your type of fire, if left uncontained, will consume every part of your life, not just your career as a player, but as a media personality, businessman, friend, husband, and father. You've shown that you could be the fire in the fireplace to keep the house warm. Instead, lately, you've been an arsonist, with the potential to burn down your own house with other people in it. I love you, brother, but you need to dig a little deeper, not just for the sake of this season, but for the rest of your life as a man."

This is why I have always related to a guy like Dray, because I have said it before he is like their big brother, cuz I have been in that position and I have done stupid sh!t just to protect my younger siblings and when you go down that road for a long time it does something to you and your mental health, you screw up and you relapse but the most important thing that you work on it and you rely on your loved ones to be honest with you and show you a better path because when they needed support you have been there, and when klay said " me and steph we are too nice and without you we can't do what we do" I have actually heard that before from my younger siblings and it just makes me love Dray even more, cuz he has been the glue that holds the warriors together..And I have been critical of some dray's actions recently but I have always understood that he is going to come to his senses at a certain point and I know it's a long journey but seeing how genuine klay is being with him it gives me hope that he will be so much better sooner rather later..

We’ve won and suffered with Dray’s hustle and ego but the truth is they all only have about 2 seasons left as starters in the court if fully healthy. Dray getting tossed when shit is already hitting the fan always takes a toll on the core (esp this season). Dray doesn’t suit up to be liked, but we in the Bay fucken love when he wins with that grit out here. Respect for having the courage to ask your brother. Stay true, Money!
@topcover229 ай бұрын
TBH Dray... in those situations you HAVE to put the entire team ahead of your own ego, . To be considered an "enforcer" you have to have the intestinal fortitude to pull back from exploding. Want to get back at that player who didn't get called for a foul or shit talk you? Block that shot, steal that ball, shoot a three right in their face. You HAVE TO KNOW, you're being targeted the moment you step on the court. Because you are such a critical part of the Warriors, other players use you to get you out of the play. If you weren't such a critical piece, you're nothing more than another PatBev.

@appropriatelyinappropriate139 ай бұрын
Draymond...if you read these comments...In therapeutic circles, there's a thing called the Niagra Falls metaphor when dealing with anger. Basically, there are a bunch of things you can do to recognize when you're about to lose control and go off the edge. In your case, I'd imagine you have about 3 seconds to recognize that the Hulk is about to come out. Not easy. I see Tony Robbins at Dubs games. He or any good practitioner of NLP/Ericksonian Hypnosis (look it up) could coach a lasting strategy to interrupt the Hulk energy from running you over The Falls in less than an hour. There are several people in the Bay that could bang this out in one session. Find one of them, stay on the court, and bring Dub nation another title before you hang it up.
@Atribecalledsuccess9 ай бұрын
He doesn’t get in trouble off the court so it’s not a real issue he’s just a 90’s player in the 2010’s+
@appropriatelyinappropriate139 ай бұрын
@@Atribecalledsuccess May be. I guarantee that his 'losing control' isn't a challenge that solely exists on the basketball court. It's in his software/programming to come to the defense of those he values and to meet aggression with aggression. It's not inherently bad. In a way, it's part of his superpower. Combustion can be fuel (which it is for him mostly), but it's also blown up on him and others more than once. There are ways to tweak our programming that don't take much time to implement...that's all I'm suggesting. Personally, I love the guy.
@Atribecalledsuccess9 ай бұрын
@@appropriatelyinappropriate13 how do you guarantee that with no evidence? he’s never got in trouble off the court
@appropriatelyinappropriate139 ай бұрын
@@Atribecalledsuccess The evidence is rooted in human nature. I've been coaching people for over 20 years and one immutable truth is that our programming travels with us everywhere. Sports and competition reveals who we are. It's a big part of why informal job interviews are held on golf courses. The fact that he hasn't been in trouble publicly isn't evidence that he doesn't lose his shit fantastically time to time privately. Had he found himself on a team where bonding happened in strip clubs, the tendency that is his achilles heel/superpower on the court would have travelled to that context. Fortunately for him, he landed in a different place. And from what I can tell from afar, he doesn't put himself in situations off the court that would trigger that part of him. Anyway, I'm simply sharing. I don't need to be right.
