There is a coop mod for the SPT mod. super easy to set up and works with most of the mods made for SPT. its called Fika, just google fika spt mod and you will find it

I don't know if Soleraint will see this comment here. But I think what makes the AI so believable is the fact that they don't always execute everything perfectly. Like I was watching some of the clips, there was a gigachad preset jumping at you, but he missed the corner. Shit like that is what makes the bots feel real enough for suspension of disbelief.

SPT saved Tarkov for me. Before I found this I was having back to back to back horrible matches on live full of all of the problems that Nikita and BSG seemingly refuse to fix. I pretty much lost hope in really having fun with the game anymore at that point but then I finally decided to give SPT a try and holy shit am I glad I did. It honestly might be one of my favorite single player experiences to date. Alone its obviously nothing special but the ability to mod and customize your experience just blows Live Tarkov out of the water in terms of playability and quality. Im not surprised Nikita and them dont like it considering the fact that the modders have fixed everything that they've been too lazy to fix for the past X amount of years.

​@@levibird6935 Tarkov is extremely chaotic and high entropy for an FPS; There are a massive amount of factors outside of your control, outside of skill, that influence your gameplay. Better players will have a larger degree of control, but only up to a certain point. There is also a huge amount of time wasted through Tarkov's many inefficient systems, like loading into raids. A significant portion of time played is unproductive, and even counter-productive, which rewards low-risk behavior and punishes players with limited time to play. In summary, Tarkov isn't a skill based shooter, it's a slot machine for rats.

⁠@@IDIlII You can stay on your current SPT version, but you won't receive live game updates. You have to manually update the game through BSG launcher and launch it once, then copy over the files into a folder and use SPT installer. In most cases the newest installer version requires the latest live game version. *Do not run BSG launcher and anything related at the same time just to be safe.* You can usually move your profile file from the user/profiles folder to the new installation, but don't skip major versions if you're doing that, something will probably break. Additionally, do not copy over mods, install any desirable mods from scratch as they are likely updated to the newer version and will not work if they aren't. Exclusions are if the author or someone in the comments says that they work for the newest version.

Been playing spt for over a year and love it. Have spent so many hours. The AI with Sain is second to none. Had better gunfights than I’ve had on live. I’ve cranked the pmcs and scavs up to squads of 4-5 using swags & doughnuts. No experience like it. Love the content mate keep them coming

Yeah idk how they did it but the PMC squads use voicelines to actually communicate with each other. One of the PMCs in any given squad will be designated squad leader and can give orders to the others. Apparently if you can ID the squad leader and kill him it fucks up the chain of command and makes the rest of the squad less combat effective, though in my experience it's pretty hard to tell

Been playing SPT for the last three years or so. The modders make the game feel so real as if im playing against actual players. The SAIN AI mod is the one i use. There used to be other ai mods but i havent checked if theyve been updated lately. The SAIN mod has different presets from anywhere from Timmy AI to Gigachad AI (it requires like three other mods in addition to it to make the bots act like real players, which is outlined on the instructions for the SAIN mod). Its awesome. I love the modding community for this game. So many cool and unique additions that would be great for the online version too.

Technically they can't. It's not BSGs code and it's all open source. Plus SPT devs have said they give people permission to re-upload as long as you aren't charging people. At most they have asset claims.

All I can say from my short time playing with a few of the most popular mods, is wow. I did not expect the AI to be so damn interesting! the different personalities and gear types, chads that spam voicelines while trying to hunt you down with great gear, timmies who run away and ask you to stop shooting, the angry messages you get after raids LOL. there are even mods to let the ai roam to places it wouldnt normally in base tarkov so you will run into them ANYWHERE and not just at POIs. Its been fantastic, and Ive only scratched the surface with mods. there is even a huge place for serverside mods like traders and quest mods, I have only tried Luna but it just works. EDIT: oh yeah AI mod is SAIN and the stuff it requires/recommends

dawg he ain't gonna do it. he got a taste of the money, waded himself into deep shit, then betrayed the trust of literally every single person that took a leap of faith and bought the game then suffered for years through it. disproportionate effort for something that would get him nowhere near the immediate profit. it's self destructive, yes, but he's backed himself into a corner. just take 20-30 minutes to reboot your brain and experience the game how you wanted it, it's the best you're gonna get.

@@wimaak people tend to have a a more critical eye on that stuff than I. The beginning of raids doesn't have the obligatory rubberbanding retail eft has. Horde mobs settings tend to strain the server on my computer. Don't take my word for it and try it out if offline progression interests you.

@@wimaak It does, you can further enhance performance with mods that remove clutter (trash, stuff you can't interact with like those fake cigarette boxes etc.) and mods that remove the grass which gives a huge boost on maps like woods, plus you can finally find all of your dropped pmcs and scavs.

Bought EoD in 2017. Never really played online tarkov for like the last two years, only SPT. Its so fun. I also like to have two different installs at the same time, one for like a hardcore-ish character and one more vanilla one, so I can play what kind of Tarkov I want at the moment.

Been playing this myself and I, honestly don't think I could go back to Live EFT anymore until they release more PVE servers and allow modding on those servers. Things like SAIN, Donuts, Looting Bots - Turn the NPC's into being nearly identical to players in most situations. (That's Lit making it so using cover, bushes and dark areas make it so NPC can't just insta-see you is also really great) Things like Ammo Stats and Trader Modding adding *Massive* QoL improvements to kit building and what ammo is actual useful. Hell, didn't know 5-hour raid timers were something I needed but holy shit it's amazing. Discounting the fact Live you have to deal with Cheaters, Extract campers and Gigachads with end-game gear. The amount of improvements SPT allows is just too much for me to lose it all.

woods is super tough. once you start killing, you must dip as fast as possible. if you stay there like you did, you will get chiped slowly and never make it to exit. on streets you can hide anywhere and slip through, but i find woods to be the toughest

Yeah perf for kill quests. I find PMCs start near the train station and roam that area, just like in live I’d find them every other raid… lol. Same around Scav shak. PMCs trying to snipe scavs around that field, or the check point. The SPT coders put AI PMCs right where real PMCs hunt in live! Lol.

I hope you play your way to the higher tiers, Klean. A few patches ago, the community contributed a ton of presets for the high tier PMCs and you’ll be amazed to see how their guns are kitted out as well. Like you said, they’re absolutely believable. Fontaine has around 300+ weapon presets in disposal iirc and the best part is that you don’t have to rely on meta builds to fight back. How your gun is built relies solely on shooter’s preference and control. I’m glad you’re putting some spotlight on SPT and why it matters a lot to what was once a pretty secluded community until most people said enough is enough right after the Unheard fiasco.

Project Fika is one of the 2 CooP mods, the other is SiT. I would recommend Fika because its less fiddly.

Me and a friend have been using fika via radmin vpn and we have had 0 issues. No desync too. It's been so damn smooth id almost say it's way smoother than live tarkov. It's been amazing fun.

By far my favorite thing about spt, and I believe you need SAIN for it. Is that sometimes when you're sniping and you miss, the bot will jump and start running around like a real player.

It's funny. I got into tarkov because I received a standard edition copy from a friend and started watching Klean's content right around early-mid 2020. The way Klean described and played the game made me feel like I finally found the kind of shooter I wanted most. Though I really enjoyed eft at first, bsg was terribly disappointing in their delivery. This vid genuinely looks like the game I expected

I saw here Realism Mod, SWAG, Amands Graphics, Questing Bots and Looting Bots at least. Would recommand ThatsLit. The Bots have a percentage to oversee you in grass, in hard to see through environment or dark places. Makes it even more realistic. You can adjust every mode to your likeing by pressing F12 (advanced settings on recomanded).

It really is the best possible version of Tarkov for me. I can tweak it to my exact taste. The bots feel real sometimes and they even send you messages talking shit when you kill them. I love that I can skip the worst quests if I want. I can just play it at my leisure and never fall behind on the wipe. I decide when the game wipes now! The only real problem I have with it is that I get a lot of little audio glitches. I call them ghosts because it's like a fraction of a second of a voiceline. And I need to look into that reshade because it can be a little hard to see.

You've sold me on spt, I'm going to figure out how to set it up tonight. Recently the issues with real Tarkov have been too much for me. I love so much about the game. If EFT didn't have such glaring issues and had a competent developer it would probably be the only game I ever played. I'm tired of dieing out of nowhere and having to question if the player just outsmarted me or if he saw me through walls, or having to wait forever for a game only to die quickly and have to wait again. But SPT looks very promising and I'm excited to try it out.

For now I've walked away. Playing 76 something I never gave the time of day to and have dropped an unhealthy amount of time into manor lords...but if I ever come back to Tarkov it'll be SPT. Especially with the ability to play Co-Op. Your clips and videos are why though.

At the beginning you said its a different game. This literally cannot be emphasized enough. It is a whole new way to play the game. I put realism mode on with all bosses spawn 100% and the donuts on "I like pain". Try to run the server, and if your computer doesn't crash, then try and survive for 5 minutes. I guarantee you even the best streamers would struggle

I have stop playing Tarkov for like good 3 or 4 years. I missed a lot of wipes and all the content they added but I have recently been playing SP Tarkov for about a week now and I'm hooked with 32 mods installed. Everything about it is better to me and it doesn't make me miss the toxic PVP experience along with cheaters. Everything is customizable so you can experience the game how you would like. It's also a way to learn the game and get good map knowledge but I doubt I'll open up the real game since I have this. You still have to play it slow because the AI will come in waves or in a squad and destroy you.

just install all of the top rated mods on the first page of SPT mod site. realism, donuts+Swag, SAIN, amands graphics, big brain, waypoints, looting bots, questing bots, FOV fix. they are the main ones but item info and item sell price are also good as well as the HUD one

Borkels Realistic NVGs, DrakiaXYZ-Waypoints , SWAG + Donuts (changed settings: Starting PMCs (Random) as spawn pattern), Amands Graphics , Looting Bots , Questing Bots, Realism Mod (Need to drop equipment to heal disabled) , SAIN (standard difficulty) , Fontaine's FOV Fix (using Fontaines personal preset for settings, have to play around with that for yourself, not really available anywhere afaik) , Scope and Red dot Overhaul. Might be missing some prerequisite mods, just check their mod page before installing, you should do that anyways.

(Since I don't know your modlist) If you don't have those mods installed already, give them a try! Questing Bots - Bots quest now, too! Looting Bots - as the rats should be (I guess you got SAIN 2.0 already) HIGHLY recommend Algorithmic Level Progession! A lvl 1 Player with an AUG and A1 ammo is highly unlikely.. The loadouts you encounter feel way more realistic =D

Imagine BSG found a way to allow rent-a-server with mod support. Basically a wet dream, no idea how queuing and progression would work, maybe once the open world is available. A group could rent out say 10 servers and progression is shared between them. Groups could do automatic wipe intervals as well. It would allow BSG to get a steady stream of income from server fees too.

The fact that they despise SPT because they want to market and profit from an "official" single-player mode is horribly toxic towards their community and unacceptable.

Besides the AMAZING game play mechanics; what really makes this game great is how enjoyable the game is as a "viewer" or audience member of a stream to watch. Tarkov has long been one of the better "spectator" games out there as is. However If you're a content creator, this should be a factor into a game you decide to stream just as much as "if the streamer if genuinely having fun". If both those elements hit, like they do on Klean's stream of SPT then you know you have a winner for a game. I hope BSG one day allows a live version of SPT.

I've been playing SPT since 3.5.0 and immediately I was blown away by how much better Tarkov could be. I'm happy to see big streamers playing it now, but the main downside is the AKI hub has been SO slow in the last week or so lol

I've been playing SPT since like 12.8...I think. Whatever was the Customs expansion that included crack house. Before that I probably played 3-4 wipes. I just recently started a SIT server for my friends and I to play on, and I love it. I have never gotten into to much modding. I always used Ghost Fenix's server value modifier to control some things, like drop rates for loot, and AI quantities...simple stuff. I really want to learn about these realism mods you have. You should do a tutorial explaining each one you use and what it does. Because it looks pretty cool.

I would love to see these changes in normal PvP, PvE too. It's super impressive how the AI act, I didn't watch every second of every SP video and stream but I haven't seen a AI SCAV crouched pointing their gun at the sun and periodically taking breaks from scorching their eye balls just to start munching on sprats while awkwardly making eye contact with you... The lighting too, crazy watching Klean switch it on/off, the difference is nice. The lighting change on Factory is cool, but when he switches the lighting on Woods in the open, you can see into the tree shadows better. The non gun zoom thing is great, not sure what it's called exactly, it's like the 1.15x zoom, similar to ADS'n without a gun or the player zoom thing from DayZ. Same with whatever the buff is you get when your hit, it's like a temporary flow state, pain killer or maybe epinephrine panic release? I would love to see these mods in normal EFT PvP, except the way the PMC AI are tuned. I wouldn't want these PMC AI tuned the way they are here in normal EFT PvP. The PMC AI are great for this single player mod and would be great for co-op too. But they should be turned down a tad and have limited solo fill into open raid solo spots for filler spawns in online PvP match making. I do like that Raider ammo though. Great video Klean!

I just got this and I’m having so much fun! I tried tarkov a year ago or so and couldn’t get into it hardly played . Heard about the new coop edition shitshow and then this . I only have the SAIN mod and the see loot value mod because I want things like vanilla first to learn the game and it’s a blast !!!

The bots mean business. Even with a team of four only one of got out once after we caught too much heat. I went down first when a boat with a 12g blasted a hole through the back of my chest when it snuck into the building we were holding
