That's a nice tool. Ratcheting actions sounds ok, as if it was higher-grade tool. One thing I find odd - that solid orange plastic makes it look even cheaper than original transparent yellow one. But it's probably my bias towards this kind of details. Price is also acceptable, especially compared to other brands (in the USA Wera T-handle ratcheting smaller sets are around $90).

Interesting, I'd like to just buy the T handle by itself. None of the bits included in the set aren't anything I already and have a good solution for. I wish they'd make more trade specific kits, for example as an electrician I'd love to have a T handle set with long hex key sockets that go up to 1/2", basically thier electricians folding hex key tool but on a better tool you can use for other things too.

Do you have the pbswiss T-handle? Been eyeing that one up for awhile
@MattHmm-rq6dn21 сағат бұрын
I've used it and it's the same mechanism as the racheting screwdriver with the nice soft touch finish. The reason I never bought it was because I use long hex bits (3 to 6in) in my t handles and there is slop because it's just a magnet unless you use c6? Bits that don't have the impact ball detent. That's why many other options that lock a fair amount of the shaft in it for no wobble. I went wera because of that with the wrap adapter.

Clever idea about the extra handle storage. My 11-to-1, its shafts, and a few others I'll add to it could use a landing place that's not a full size case. Saw it online recently but did not realize it's a ratchet. That appeals to me now, because repositioning your hand on a static t-handle is slower than on a shaft. Oh well, I'm sure I've blown $50 on worse things. My wife doesn't yet know about my lone KNECT Starter box due to a pile of Packouts now flooding our place. I understand these little mod boxes are all targeting various niche users but as a generalist I'd like to see them separate out the cores: One mod box for KNECT handles, another for bits (they already have one like that for standard bits), another for sockets ... and if anyone wanted a complete KNECT setup maybe sell a full size case for people into their bigger stack box system.
@MORGANSMaintenance14 сағат бұрын
@@thenexthobby I agree on the box setups… each one is treated like it’s the only one you are going to buy. They could lower the prices some too if they didn’t put a ratchet in each one

I own the dewalt and it makes a gear flat plac furniture assembly kit. The actual t handle is very decent thr best budget buy in my opinion. The case is huge and unweildy to actual carry. The t handle i suggest is the wera 416 RA that thing is pb swiss level of smooth with a locking bit holder. That would also fit in that case as well 🤔. The actual t handle in thay set sounded chunky from the video and looks kinda plastic and cheap. I went to lowes this morning and it dosent look any better sadly in person. Anyone who really like t handles that dewalt is decent and the wera is a dream to use (yes i know the wera is 50 bucks). You could get the wera and some railer 6in bits for the price of pb swiss or just reuse some bits you all know we have tons of and get the wera and make your own kit. Just some alternatives before you drink the lego klein kool aid why not have the best tool not one that just matches a set.

@@MORGANSMaintenance I have seen those but never used them. The ones I have seen are about 5 ft lbs. and I would want something that could handle a little more beef....like a half inch luch for mains on a panel. I don't think I have ever seen one that uses a hex adapter like a digital one that usually uses 3/8ths or 1/2 for normal sockets. If I could find one that is hex I would snap this kit up in a heartbeat. I suppose I could get an adapter to go from hex to 3/8ths square and another to go back from 3/8ths square to hex to use this set but thats a lot of pieces to keep track of...would be nice to find a hex to hex torque adapter so I could put that in the t-handle then the bit I would need.
