That is interesting considering the Hartford & Boston markets touch so viewers in those areas saw it on both stations. You figured they would have use the duplicated scenes in a distant market.

Did WFSB-TV 3 do a "Land of the 3" promo w/ clips of CBS shows like The Jeffersons, M*A*S*H, One Day at a Time, Alice, WKRP in Cincinnati, Dallas, Trapper John, M.D., The Dukes of Hazzard, Hawaii Five-O, The White Shadow, etc., or any daytime programming?

I think they did have some promos with the CBS shows. I remember George Jefferson saying "Land of the 3" or "WFSB" in a promo.

[😂] I know about it, fellow people. WFSB's "Circle 3" logo was debuted on July 26th, 1980. I know that's the "Land of the 3", but there are several designers that made OR recreate the logo for WFSB (channel 3, CBS affiliate in Hartford, Connecticut). First, from 1980 to 1983, it was designed by Klein& and Cascom Selective Effects. Then, from 1983 to 1990, it was designed by Television by Design, but it's recreating the logo. Finally, from 1990 to 1993, it was designed by an "in-house" person, but recreating the logo again. Sadly, WFSB's "Circle 3" logo was stopped on September 25, 1993, when a brand new "Circle 3" was debuted, taking over the old 1980 version. The 1993 "Circle 3" was designed by Post-Newsweek Design. And now... LET'S TAKE THIS OLD "CIRCLE 3" DOWN!!! DESTROY IT!!!

They don't include Springfield anymore in their ID because they have a low powered station WSHM (3.5) now. But with the analog signal they were seen on cable and OTA in Brattleboro, VT.
