This motherboard arrived to me DOA. Took some time and luck to flash to the latest UEFI and it finally works. Hours down the drain and a major headache. Wish stuff worked out of the box like it used to, now days there's always something.

What is the most COST effective motherboard I can use for i5-13500 CPU to give me, system stability and good to v. good performance, no thermal throttling and under-volting. I am using this combo as a workstation or for video/image production NOT for games? Is the above motherboard do the job well enough?

I have pretty much same, except I only have 650w psu, and only an SSD just plugged in... Not on the motherboard itself like in video. Do I need to have them direct on the motherboard?? PC currently not turning on.

@@stunna1226 I believe so. I either bent pins on motherboard(which I didn't see any visible issues), or it was DOA. Sent it back and got a new one. Everything started right up. Used my old hard drive that already had windows on it, and haven't had any issues yet.

those wires pluged in were for the rgb fans, instead of putting 4 seperate wires on the motherboard, you all them into that then take one wire and put that into the motherboard.

u got the answer? If not you won’t need to update the BIOS. With most B760 boards, you won’t even need to update the BIOS in order for it to work with a later released 13th Gen processor like the i5-13500. It will have no problems running an i7-12700f or i5-12400f. As you know, 13th Gen and 12th Gen processors share the same socket. @@hff7904

@@xyz00-s5w I disagree. AMD is better for gaming purposes. Have you seen the performance of 7600x vs 13600k. Clearly 7600x is the winner. Whereas 13600k is too much costly for gaming. For mid range 7700x is better option.

Are there any lights on the motherboard itself?? Just put this together, and nothing is happening when I hit power button. quadruple checked the power plug, and everything else. Even took it out and tried to bench test it. Took out the cpu to make sure i didnt bend any pins, and it looks fine. Are the cpu or motherboard common to be doa?

I recently build my pc with the same motherboard and an Intel i5 12400f but when booting it doesn't show the display and it resets after some times and it keeps reseting. u need check if have bent pins on the motherboard, try swap RAM slots, check if 24 pin and 8 pin power connected to motherboard, graphics card 6+2 pins power connected
