I am a medical doctor who worked at zuri health a leading telemedicine company that employed the same model. I can tell you for sure that the model is flawed, unscalable, cannot intergrate with existing health infrastructure but has other applications that could be fruitful

Thanks for your insights. Also curious to know what other use cases could work for telemedicine - mental health?

This was a good one ! Loved how you dove into the thought process with the founder on how well it can work. I learnt a ton ! Also helps bringing a 3rd person to the convo in all episodes. Very good and getting better !

This is a cool service. The first startup in the podcast that actually solves a viable problem. For me, starting from a wider niche is better so that you can gather enough data and let the data tell you which specific niche needs focus and what are the other services that come along with the specific niche.

Agreed the problem is a viable one.His biggest challenge might be competing products which are already further in development and offer the exact same services that he offers. Nonetheless we wish him the best

I have an almost similar idea, I started this without knowing there is a sophisticated platform 😮

@annehunter9978 do you still harbor the same ideas after watching? If yes we should link up

It is heartening to hear him in 1:19:39, him wanting to be here, and he is finally here. My startup has a complementary idea to Klinix, and I hope to one day be able to pitch. Until then, I am sure to apply what I have learnt here to ginevtune our MVP

You actually solve a big problem. Self medication. Which is WRONG. Our bodies get to resist some of this drugs.

Its a good idea 💡 but my problem is, if i was using the service and am in Nairobi and i want to meet the doctor i was talking to and then find out that , the doctor is in eldoret like that becomes challenge to access that doctor if they could filter and connect Nairobi users to Nairobi doctors to make easy to book appointment with the doctor and so to other users in other different counties. The judges were great and honest but more importantly industry awareness was great watching ❤

Come on, guys, seriously? 4 out of 10? I was skeptical at first, but he had all the answers. I'd give him 8 out of 10. Even if you don't use it, he convinced me and can convince the 50 people he needs. This is the first legit startup on your show. Be fair.

I think the reasons given by the judges for the ratings are well thought out and explained. An 8 is quite high for an idea that is yet to be validated. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

did you guys see the gemini AI future which can tutor kids and do home based academic tuition for them on any subject through video, voice and chat, I foresee AI doctors, that can do tele health consultation and also prescribe specific drugs and brand then automatically map out the nearest pharmacy and order a door to door delivery for that, oh wow welcome to 2024!
