Klipsch Makes a Change For One Reason, and One Only...IMPROVEMENT. RP600M-II has better Dispersion and is Acoustically Flatter across the Spectrum. Broader HORN Lessens 'Directionality' in the room environment ....Great Job Klipsch, as usual!

Just got mine a few days ago and can’t stop listening to them. I’m also a audiophile with beer breath and Champagne taste😁 Remarkable speakers I truly believe and maybe not at any price point but they definitely can knock many off there pedestal at 3 to 4 times their price. I’ve had many speakers over the years more then I can remember. Dynaudio, kefLS50’s, paradigm, old school klipsch RF7 ll’s and the list goes on.... Anyway with my Nad356bee running these 600ms and klipsch 12” sub “ with or without “ These are my favorite speakers to date and like them so much I can see some RP8000f’s ending up in my man cave next. Hey Randy I have a pair of those and for me personally they are amazing after having them for well over a year I finally added a Subwoofer you can do without one however adding a subwoofer will make your highs and mids come to life they are fantastic keep up the good work man.

I didn't love these speakers until I paired them with a Cambridge AXA35. Before I had them connected to the Onkyo A-9010 and couldnt understand the reason for the hype. But once I connected them to the Cambridge I saw the light. First amplifier that really make me believe that there are better stuff out there. Im a newbie at this hobby.

Do you get enough power for loud volumes and bass with the Cambridge? My Yamaha rs202 receiver is anemic with everything including the Klipsch rp600s.

I have these and the RP-8000Fs and I like these so much more. They have a great soundstage but not nearly as bright as the 8000s. The 8000s are fatiguing after a while, they literally give me a headache after a while. The 600s are more balanced and never fatiguing. I bought the 600s for my office and the 8000s are in my living room. I thought the 600s might be too small for my living room since it's an open floor plan including the kitchen, living room and dining room but I put the 600s in place of the 8000s for a couple of days and they sounded great. They had no problem filling the space.

I’m thinking about replacing my RP-4000Fs with the RP-600m. Do you think it’s a good idea? Thinking about downsizing for decor purposes but don’t want to sacrifice sound quality. Already have a subwoofer.

@@shmser8401 I have never listened to the RP4000s but I have listened to them compared to my RP8000s and if I had to permanently replace the 8000s with the 600s, it would hurt my feelings at all.

260 black piano. Way later tahn this but that's the magic of klipsch they do sales. It sounds just as good as any speaker that's a grand with classical which I like.

Just got these for $326 on amazon, and a 504c center for $380. Both super cheap now, can't wait till Wednesday. Paired with Sony 1080 7.1...hope that receiver pushes them. I've had bose 701 and vc 10 center for 25 years, I'm due for an upgrade, and better sound!!!!

Same. It's nice to be reassured you made a good choice in speaker when the audiosnob community is always putting down klipsch and constantly moving from piece to piece that cost as much as a riding mower or a used car. Audiosnobs put down klipsch but I think they're fulla schiit. I love klipsch. Time to find my mom a new phone, her old one is shot.

I have no experience with the 6's but at $500 they would be considered for sure. If you don't have an amp, I think the 6's might be a great option for you.

I have these and a pair of B&W 705's in my shop..for the price, tje RP-600M'S are the deal of the century ..so far. The B&W's cost much much more ..like almost 3,200.00 more per pair..Do the B&W's sound better? YES, however if you are playing you music and also doing some work on your computer, and not REALLY paying attention.. Buy the Klipsch, you get a phenomenal little speaker & won't miss a thing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hey Randy! Great review! I'm struggling to pick my new speakers and I narrowed the choice to Klipsch RP-600M and KEF Q350 (you only did a review of their younger brother). I can’t find a good review on Klipsch rp-600m versus rp-160m, the 160m’s are still available at a very good price. What is your take on this comparison? Glad I found someone that can help me before I make bad choices. thanks, Ed Colston

I have no personal experience with the 160's but I do with the RB 61ii's which were the precursor to the 160's so the 600's grandad. I found those speakers to be very very similar so I'd imagine that the 160's are nearly identical. obviously there were some improvements but probably not enough to charge double.

I bought a pair on sale for $400 from Amazon. They arrived today. I hooked them up and they sound pretty good. However, IMO my old Cerewn Vega AT8 speakers are much better in every area of performance. Now I'm starting to wonder if they can be beat by anything in the sub $1,000 category. Not bashing the Klipsch, they are a quality speaker, just not for me.

@@raizt1596 I think they sound great. There is a hole in the midrange...stepped back a bit...but voicemeeter equalizer fixes that in a jiffy. At $299...I'd still choose gen I.

My first taste of klipsch were the 600m. I liked them but wanted more so I got the 280f and that was a drastic improvement in power, dynamics, punch. I added the 450c and 250s: love that center. Such a theatrical and live concert performance system with my Yamaha aventage receiver. The surrounds add to the experience but could skip them:. Didn't make a huge difference to me but it's fine, they work great. Now I want the Cornwall iv but I may never step up because I already don't get enough time with my 280f to justify an upgraded. Plus the 280f would be hard to beat. Knowing my luck in upgrading, it might be worse. Generally stick with what you like that's good enough. When you start moving up, I usually find myself finding more problems. In the case of the cw4, it would be space and placement that would be my biggest problem.

those baby's are not cheap here in canada, $849, i have seen them at $649..still expensive. right now i have a set of Fluance reference bookshelf speakers, and they are very good sounding speakers.

Emotiva TA-100 emotiva.com/products/ta-100?aff=9 Also has preamp outs if you ever want to add a different power amplifier and use this as a preamp. 2 sub outs, phono pre, great dac. Best deal in audio. Denon PMA600NE is also a good option or the 800NE

Klipsch are very efficient speakers, your 100w per channel will power these no problem.

Not being able to change volume with tv remote is a real pain in the ass. having to search around for multiple remotes now but still, First bookshelf speakers i've owned and they're still blowing my mind 7 months later :)

I have no idea what to run these with to justify all these rave reviews. I received a new Yamaha receiver as a present but it sounds absolutely anemic. No bass, no power, and distortion at lower than acceptable volume. I bought these Klipsch for the sole purpose of bringing that Yamaha to life but I may as well be listening to some Logitech computer speakers that came with my Dell pc in 2001. I put my last stereo system together in the 90's. 2 Cerwin Vega RE30 3 way 12" loudspeakers, a Pioneer 200 watt max receiver(with bass boost), and a 6 disc cd changer. All in, close to $600 and it just kicked butt. It was easy then. Everything seems overrated and overpriced now. All these guys wearing tight pants, sipping frappuccinos while doing "hifi" reviews, & listening to Adele while crying themselves to sleep at night have ruined home audio

I was going to buy these the other day $1.200 aud and used them for my rear speakers but the sales guy told me no one uses the 600s a for that purpose so I walked out unsatisfied he wanted me to buy the 500s instead but that's not what I wanted

You need a receiver/streamer/ speaker with a usb input. Most receivers don’t do this. Your computer is effectively a streamer. Best option is a high quality powered speaker. They are intended often for use with a computer. If you like the Klipsch 600s look into the Klipsch Fives. Great speakers, no drama with extra equipment. They are also good via WiFi, Bluetooth etc. you might have to mess with your computer to get it to output digital audio via usb instead of its weak internal dac. Under a k.

@@darrencosby8936 I am now using a receiver without a USB input. I connect the receiver to the computer using the headphone jack with a 3.5mm to RCA cable. My passive speakers rock. Total investment is 70 US dollars. I am in heaven. I tried Klipsch The Fives, they were a one fart boxes.
