I had them but returned. They are absolutely amazing for music but unfortunatley for movies they are not very good. The clarity with the voices at that frequency is so muffled on any setting you choose and even trying to customize to lower the bass in that range makes it a little clearer but then everything sounds blah. Sadly not a great overall speaker but for music they are DJ studio/you could easily be a wedding DJ right off the bat. These get insanely loud and sound amazing at that loudness. I mean pain stakingly loud to like burst your eardrums and still sound incredible. They are quite an amazement for music

@@Sloimer ya, for 5.1 system I had they worked amazing. I really wanted these to work for movies, I would 1000% would have kept them. I watch at least 1 movie or show a day as an avid movie lover and I just couldn't with these as amazing as they are with music

My guess is you need a center channel speaker and a system capable of sending center channel sound.

I measured bass extension down to 21hz on mine. That's insane. dsp wizardry at its finest. I liked the bass on these alone more than connecting my subwoofer. they go just as deep as my sub. These are house shaking monsters.

I have a set of kef Q700 with an Onkyio Rz820 receiver(140 watt rms, 280 watt max). Thinking of downsizing. No one in the family uses it for anything else besides Cable or streaming. I love the sound quality. It's neutral with lots of detail, depth, and an airy sound stage. The low end can be punchy with lots of reserve. Do you think going to the Nines will lesson that detail and sound stage? Thank you.

Did you adjust the EQ settings on the Klipsch app. From what I hear they sound flat out of the factory and you need to adjust the EQ when setting them up.

For this price the HDMI should eARC and comes with height speakers for Atmos or spatial audio.

How to not build active speaker : as a Master & Slave Version. Source - DAC - 2x Active Pairs with their own Amps inside like a Neumann KH150 wich is in the same price category and have their powerfull Room Correction on board - is for me the correct way to set up an system.
