That’s because you’re nerds living chronically online; a lot of stuff I did not know(Stephanie’s wedding declined by her to be televised, Dusty being Vince’s original Hulk Hogan, Vince’s thoughts on Hulk’s lies about steroids, admitting to steroids outright and the stupidity of the IBFF, him LOVING wrestling- what most fans swear he doesn’t). There was a lot there tbh and to act like you’re not gonna get fluff with the actual person participating is ignorant

Watching the Doc and seeing how Vince treated Shane made me sad to be quite honest. I felt like shane just wanted to run a buisness with his dad enjoy life but wasn't cut throat enough. I think Shane is the only one that actually cares about the family, probably the most human of the bunch. I feel for him though

I feel like Vince did exactly what his father did to him in a way. Only shame didn’t measure up enough for Vince to give him the reigns. Stephanie has been awesome for WWE. Plus it doesn’t hurt that her husband will probably go down as the smartest man in pro wrestling. Ever. Just my opinion. But HHH has made it worth watching again.

What I find interesting is Vince is such a private guy with WWE yet he's allowed the public to peak behind the curtain only THREE times and its blown up in his face every time. Wrestling with Shadows - Everyone ends up hating him because of Bret Behind the Mat - Wrestling is put in a terrible light for treatment of the wrestlers (especially Foley and the chair shots from Rock at the Rumble and where Jake was at in his life) Netflix documentary - All the charges come out during the filming

Reading the comments there are more people complaining about Sean not knowing about "Ruthless Aggression". I've been a fan of WWF since '84, but I did stop watching around '02. Not because it wasn't good, just work, family, etc. I missed out the Ruthless Aggression. Did not know about the Ruthless Aggression years. NXT brought me back. Now to the Netflix series... So many things was skipped over. especially what was said by Tony Atlas (admitting that any woman working in the WWF was hell) and not asking why. Jimmy Hart was pretty nervous on saying what he knew. I do wish to see/listen the raw interview with Bret. He just answered everything.

Every time Kevin Nash talks in a shoot interview, I'm always waiting for a punchline or a joke. I can never tell when he's being completely serious, or is making a set up for something humorous to come out of his mouth. Regardless, I always enjoy his interviews. Maybe cause he's good friends with my favorite wrestler ever, Shawn Michaels. He always comes off so relaxed and chill, but boy don't take it as a given he wouldn't beat your ass if you piss him off. As for Sean, even with completely white hair he has now, my mind can't seem to understand he's a good 15 years older than when I first saw him. He seems forever young to me.

Sean, the reason WWE now “goes to great lengths to hide Vince” is because they know the audience is smart, so yes they don’t want association with him for the obvious but also what Kevin alluded to “ a new chapter” at the same time by hiding him from the audience that motivates the audience to search for him. So basically Netflix capitalizes, WWE-TKO capitalize, and Vince capitalizes

The sneezing thing I think is huge in terms of telling you the type of control freak Vince is and it is glossed over. It shows why he doesn't buy into CTE. In his warped thought process there is nothing that can happen to a person that takes away their control. He believes in absolute and total control over every aspect so the idea that CTE could make someone do something they would not do under normal conditions is something he can't grasp.

It was fucking awesome back then for me. It was a huge part of my life. But Vince McMahon is a brilliant and very complicated human being. I hardly ever pay attention to any wrestling now. I'm into mma big time but it was a huge part of my world for years

Around 14 minute mark he doesnt really want to give opinion sounds like, but later "I'm not afraid of Vince Mcmahon"...okay, but most of the people in doc did not want to speak on Vince Mcmahon's legacy, before even the trafficking allegations. If it were a post Vince Mcmahon wwe, Netflix makes award winning Vince Mcmahon documentary. instead they made a nostalgic recap of decades long hot mess.

Yeah man. Listen, thats the way I look at it. Netflix going for their first live streaming option in RAW. And they want to hook the viewers that dont watch wrestling. While starting with a clean slate. The Vince docu, in their eyes, accomplishes both goals. It even leaves the door open for a court case docu (a la Depp vs Heard) if they can get footage. So, for the wrestling fan its nothing new. But for the regular Netflix viewer it is. (Also, a docu about Vince that Vince initiated himself at first.... I didnt have high hopes for a new, revelating series to begin with🤷‍♂️ Its a miracle they even took it in a slightly different direction after)

I always thought Ruthless Aggression was where Cena started and before it went to the PG era.

I would tend to agree with those saying it was like 5% new and jarring stuff, 95% a nicely packaged “here’s what’s fucked up about Vince” summary.

Ruthless aggression era was Cena right? That’s what he said to Angle when he debuted on smack down. Or am I wrong?
