You can quickly complete hearts in both JW maps once a week for purchasing the map shards by doing weekly rifts (5 of them) in each map. Doing all 5 on a map will give you 12 renown heart tokens. I recommend doing tier 1 rifts since it's the fastest way to complete them.

People always overlook that legendary gear costs no transmutation charges to change its appearance. I would be negative -10,000 charges if this weren't the case.

Klob Jarney is by far my favorite legendary I've made, it really ties into the whole expansion's resource loop quite well and makes content feel meaningful. Keep up the good work!

Great job on the guide, Muk! One tip I want to mention is that you can also get Stabilizing Matrices by salvaging ascended rings (3-4 on average) with a chance to get more per ring if it's attuned and/or infused.

Thank you for the guide! Finished mine last week and it was quite a lot of fun! Just…the amalgamated gemstones were…unexpected and a hard hit in the wallet 😅 I am really happy to have bought the necessary amount a few hours after the patch hit They were like 50 silver then so the price increased already while it climbed now to 1 gold 20 something? Yeah they are rare loot and you can only get one as a choice after a successful meta event but the amount necessary for this is extreme. Only established players with quite a bit of wealth and lots of materials gathered are able to get this gem Its subtle but still very shiny & i love it 😊😊

Its also a cool extra that depending on which number of spear skill (1-5) you use, a specific ghost spear will join the real one with the attack.

Anyone have tips for the Amagalmated gemstones? 500 seems like a lot to get just from a few metas a day...

You can combine 3 * 3 orb-level jewelry materials with 1 * crystalline dust to get guaranteed amalgamated gemstones, with a low chance of getting 10. Or, you can combine 3 * 25 of the same orb-level mats & 5 * ectos for 10 * guaranteed amalgamated gemstones, with a low chance of getting 25. Or, you can just combine 4 of the same orb-level materials, with a rare chance of gettting an amalgamated gemstone. This is not recommended. Or, you can combine 4 * tier 5 (crystal) level jewelry materials, for a roughly 1/100 chance. This may be a good way to dump tier 5 stuff like medallions and to repleneish tier 6, but I wouldn't bother buying the tier 5s.

neat trick for the janthir spear kills achievement: you can complete it by smacking ambient creatures, so if you’re feeling mean you can run around stabbing whatever you come across and get it super quick with one hit kills each

Nice vid as always. But tbh, I lost a bit of interest and motivation on GW2 since JW came out. But at least I made about 500g with selling the time gated janthir heart vendor items 😂 I don't like spears tbh and only have guardian who really benefits from spears. Since there are more beautiful spears out there I have absolute no intention to craft this one. So nice way to make gold with mats 😂

Finished this spear myself last week, but still watched the guide. The bit about Gift of the Mists made me laugh...mostly because I farmed up 10ish Gifts of Battle last month when those event bonuses overlapped. That was some good eating getting almost 500 reward track per tick Worry not, I kicked myself for not buying up a bunch of amalg gemstones before the patch...not because I figured they'd be used, but so I could finish HOPE. Big oof to say the least

Yeah, I'm never making this :(. I salvaged both precursors because I have better equipment, didn't need them, and didn't see that they were precursors. Like, hello? They're not even ascended gear, so why would I even think they were precursors? There was no warning when I salvaged them either, and now getting them back is just ridiculously expensive compared to what I got when I salvaged them. No... Just no...
