A good video how ever a few updated points for the 2017 and up bikes.... 1. You DO NOT need to remove the ignition switch, just pull that little chrome trim by pulling the Tab on the bottom of it by the tank and it pops off. The gauge cluster has a huge hole and just turn the switch to lock and there you go. 2. The plugs on the bottom of cluster are for future accessory switches, unplug both and the cluster is free to remove. And 3. newer bikes 17 and up now have a small plug (no molex) that goes right up though the bars easy peasy. Thanks again for the time and effort on making this video.

I think I can do this myself even though I only have common sense and intermediate skills when it comes to wiring. But for this job, I will just give these to Professionals who has the experience. I want a safe Motor built by people with years of experience. Safety is a top priority for me and I may miss some important steps. Handlebars are very crucial parts of the Motorcycle. I will only do this myself if a professional is around that can supervise.

I wish they would comment on the change between stock and the 10" bars. I am 5'6" and looking for bars with less reach. Not sure about going 12" though. Would want 10"

Great video, but I am surprised she didn't pull the master fuse before disassembly. Also I find it's easier to remove handlebar wires after the bars are removed.

I just bought a 2017 RGS and they told me it would void the warranty on the controls by putting aftermarkets on. So of course I went with the HD 14 inch apes and had to change cables as well. If it wasn't for the whole warranty thing I would have went with these! I really like how you can set the position yourself rather then one option. I definitely plan to get these at some point. I know 10 inch in these don't require cables, do the 14's?

Vespah I think its more of a scare tactic to buy their brand, I was told by one dealership you have to re tune if you put slip ons on my 17 rgs but it has the cats and I'm not retarded and know unless you change the air intake or part of the foward header exhaust a tune is not required. most dealerships will honor the warranty as long as they do the work and the part is shipped to them and the part is a known credible part not knock off billy bobs bars. just ask the manager and get it cleared.

That dealership is full of shit. You should have told them to suck it! Also 14 bars don’t require cables unless they are really wide bars.

Anybody know if you have to replace any of the factory wiring if you buy the 12" for use on 2015 Road King?

I like Klockwerks stuff, but those bars are hideous.
