Ah, great to see that Klonoa: Door To Phantomile finally got an English dub where Klonoa actually sounds like himself... All joking aside, this was a swell watch. While some of the voices aren't perfect, particularly in regards to Huepow at certain points, there are some here that are a perfect fit like with Joka and Ghadius. Well done to everyone involved in this project! I certainly wouldn't mind if you guys were to do a Lunatea's Veil dub in the future...

I think for his Lunatea's Veil design, the Wiimake's voice fits better, a LOT better. I know people disagree with me, but a voice like the one you gave him here conflicts with his older, teen-or-adult looking design in that game, but this voice fits VERY well in this game where he has the original version's design. I can tell a lot of love was put into this! Great work!

Thanks much! I don't disagree with you, I think that Klonoa's voice should sound deeper as he grows older with his Lunatea's Veil design.

@@TiffanyElectricity I think he's probably even older in the Wii remake than in Lunatea's Veil, because I noticed that the age his creator gave for him on DtP (9 years old) lines up with the age he gave for Klonoa in LV (13 years old), which means that he would be 20 when the Wii remake came out. So I personally see his Wiimake incarnation as being 20 years old.

Klonoa actually has the English dub but only in Wii version. And Klonoa’s voice sounds like a teenage guy while Ghadius has British accent. Also, Joka is named as Joker in the Wii version.

It took me a long time to create it. It's the largest video I've ever edited together. I took extra time adding completely custom audio and and manually adjusting the lighting of each scene to add that special flair that makes it cinematic. :)

This is really good! I have some questions, if you don't mind. I'm kind of interested in doing fandubs like this: 1. Do you have much voice acting experience? What about the other people in this video? I try to do different voices sometimes, but I often worry I'm not good enough at it. 2. How did you go about organizing this? Did you pay the other people to participate, or are they just your friends or something? I guess that was more like a bunch of questions in two parts. Sorry. 😅 But I would really appreciate any answers you can provide!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the movie! 1. I've been voice acting since I was very young, however this is one of my first big voice projects that I've shared publicly. 2. I came up with the idea when I was looking for any fandubs of Klonoa DTP and there weren't any I could find, this was a non paid fandub, some of my friends showed interest when I pitched my idea and asked them to voice some of the characters. If you're nervous about voicing try to do some voice takes alone, loosen up and have fun with it! Also it's not 100% necessary to change your voice to be a VA if you're not comfortable with it yet, Remember while practicing to keep hydrated to avoid hurting your vocal cords! Let me know if you want to ask anything else!

Great work. Voice acting was a little shaky in places but good overall. Wish you had dubbed the extra vision. I do wonder what happened with the moon pendant and Phantomile in general after Klonoa was forced to leave. Was Grandpa truly real?

You're lucky I understood the sarcasm, I actually had no idea what you were referring to until I looked up the Wiimake dialog. I haven't fully watched the wii English version, for multiple reasons, for this cinematic dub I strictly referenced the original phantomilians gibberish dialog, but tried to keep their intent and tone while speaking in English.
