Wish the coin paper rolling attachments could be chucked into a standard drill.

That would be cool! Then everyone could use it. I guess you could make an attachment like these that could do that.

I am so glad you did a video on this! I have always wondered how eBay sellers crimp their "Original Bank Rolls". This is good for somebody who plans to sell lots of crimped rolls on eBay. Not so good for just personal use-a little too expensive -lol.
@talkaboutcoins8294 жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful. It's probably how, as there's many "bank crimping" style machines. This would be more handy for someone who goes through a LOT of change, possibly a small business who deals in vending or something similar.
@stackerforson71804 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same. You see guys that bought rolls off ebay and the twp on outside are awesome and when people crack it open the ones in the middle are in terrible shape. Scum bags they are, the people that do that. lol

If the intent is to try make fake original rolls for sale. That is unethical and wrong and terrible for the hobby. Disgusting.

Never buy from eBay. It’s a ripoff. You can just hit up banks specially ones in small old towns will have plenty of old rolls and are chill about it. Also when getting change at the store while shopping I sometimes ask for a couple rolls of pennies instead of a dollar bill,

Great idea, but unfortunately I don't own the machine. I borrowed it for a review! The ends really do hold up well though and are tight.

Over $400 yikes...I could see needing one if I dealt with A LOT of coins but I just dabble. Is there any DIY method that comes close to the machined result?
@jeron92724 жыл бұрын
If you just want to crimp them to keep them in, you can use the TWIST N' CRIMP, but note that it is really tricky, but possible, to use with the flat coin wrappers. It works way better for preform rolls and does a good job but doesn't come anywhere near the end result of this. It takes a little to get used to with flats tho, practice practice (and good rolls ;)
@KandiKlover3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can do it with your finger tips. Just work around the circumference folding it in barely on a little bit and keep doing multiple fold passes til it reaches the coins. Holds them in tight and very durable crimp. Your fingers will be sore tho.

I buy the quarters from the bank. I search through them, pull out the ones I want to keep and return the others. It's a cheap way to have a hobby. :)

Boy this would’ve saved my fingers today when I was sorting out my pennies. Copper from non copper, and memorials from shields. I mean I could’ve just fold smushed it in but ocd so I finger crimped.

Nice Kandi! Do you have a big penny collection? It's definitely handy to have. I think the price tag is pretty hefty so it's not for me but I'd love one of these to knock out a ton of rolls for sure.

@@talkaboutcoins829 Yeah it was a big jar. I normally use the seperated non-coppers minus the 2009 bicentennials for spending later though I kinda thinking bout just keeping them all and sorted.

Is the intent to deceive people into thinking they are getting original rolls when they aren't? If that is the intent I believe that is unethical. Which is terrible for the hobby.
@talkaboutcoins8293 жыл бұрын
Definitely not. I would never deceive a coin collector into thinking that. This would simply be for crimping the edge on a personal collection or to bring them to the bank in bulk for a company who does massive amounts of rolls. While the Klopp coin roller is a great machine, personally this is why I wouldn't pay the price tag for this. I can just close them by hand for free.
@doughensley62023 жыл бұрын
@@talkaboutcoins829 i still think the intent is to deceive in light of the comments in reference to eBay. I think a disclaimer is in order to protect from the unethical use or intent of the users.
