I had one. It had a comfortable seat and suspension. Much prettier than the usual KLR 650

What happened? Did you get the Tengai finished? I’m subscribed and I didn’t hear anything more about it. Was really looking forward to seeing it. I have one myself, best wishes from Northern Ireland. 🌌🌠👍

I remember my Kwaka "Ten Guys". I smashed the plastic sump guard in a state pine forest early on. Hairline cracks developed in the frame from sitting on a dollar forty to the Red Centre. Loved it for 4yrs & 60000km. Been on Suzuki V-Strom 650 for the past 13yrs (almost bought the Gen2 KLR650 in 2008, but was really just the old tractor with "hair & makeup") and much prefer the smoothness, sound and power of the twin 650 (even though she is hefty). I look for to this resto for a trip down memory lane!

My 2005 KLR has 88000 kms on it and I've never done the doohickey and it still runs fine.

Oh Man this is going to be fun to watch. I have never heard of that model KLR. Those colors on the plastics look fantastic!!! It's blowing my mind that I've never heard of the Tengai.
