I had the scaphoid fracture. Is it mandatory to take out the herberts screw few months after surgery ?

It's not mandatory, but it could become necessary, e.g. if the screw ends up sticking out a bit after years of bone healing, possibly rubbing against neighboring bones, causing pain. (Disclaimer: I'm not an MD, but had this procedure, lived with the screw for 2 years, am about to take it out).

@@garggarg-dx1xb It seems to have fully healed, and wrist movement 100% or insignificantly less I can do proper pushups and pullups. After op, at rehab period, I trained lightly, did pushups on knees in carefully chosen quantities.
