This is actually not the company’s problem. It has to do with GoI policy. If you observe, all Japanese brands, the prices of their vehicles are seriously not justified these days. Foreign brands which have tied up with Indian counterparts like Triumph with Bajaj are tax and tariff exempted in a lot of ways. Japanese brands need to tie up with Indian brands of they want their sale prices to stay within reasonable limits.

All countries have import duties not just us. Stop blaming everything on govt, get some knowledge of commerce before yapping on the internet. It is indeed the company's problems, just one of the many problems of doing for profit business. When Indian companies sell in foreign countries they also deal with the same import problems.

It is the company's problem. People like you just want to blame everything on fhe government. All companies know what the pricing will be after importing these units. Yet they want to sell it pricing it like this. The taxation rules are set in place. Every country has these rules. Don't act as if onky india is like this. Maybe you watch some youtuber who make senaarionalise videos about how tax is so much and you don't do your research.

There is no way to juatify this price. All companies know what the price will be cos of import duties yet they decide to spend money on launching, advertis8ng when they know thisnwill hardly sell. This is only margonally better than the xpulse. Buy a xpulse and modify it to reduce weight and youll still be left with money
