Found that ordering a new carburetor was the same price as a repair/rebuild kit. So...I did what seemed most obvious to me and placed the order for a new one. Hopefully that does the trick.

I bought mine off ebay. Ultimately was able to get the bike running, stripped all paint and clear coated the frame, recovered seat in black, installed new large Acerbis tank, and added a street legal kit. Ran like a champ out on a nine-day trip to the CO backcountry and back. Trailered out.

Well shoot! Sorry I left ya hanging! Rookie YTer here. Ultimately, I stripped the whole bike down, stripped all the paint, clear coated the frame, added a new large Acerbis tank, got seat recovered in black, and put a street legal kit on it. Then got it running with a little help from my shop. Gave it to my son for his high school graduation present and then we took off to CO for a nine-day backcountry experience.
