Thanks for the video, Mike! I do most of my own work on my motorcycles but have never gotten into any carb work/adjustment. After watching this I feel pretty confident that I don't need to pay someone to install this kit.

Hi Mike, you should consider tagging your video and adding Eagle Mike to the title. You don’t show up at all when searching in KZbin’s results. Also you could consider changing your KZbin display name to Eagle Mike. Good video ty

This carb kit doesn't work for the 250 engine. The carb construction is the same though.

@10:00 when would it be appropriate to add the tiny washer to the needle?

If you need to richen the air/fuel ratio a little bit, you'd put one of the thin stainless washers under the e-clip. When you order the kit from my site, I email you a pdf containing instructions and settings.

ive installed this kit on my 07 and my 17 klr but the 17 seems to be running very rich..haven't even had to choke it when cold..should i adjust anything or just leave it be? any suggestions would be nice..thanks

Double check and be sure you got everything installed correctly. If you bought direct from me, I sent an email with a pdf attached containing settings and instructions. If you have a question, it's best to just call me or email me, and tell me what you installed so I can help trouble shoot. There's several thousand of these kits out there, and very few issues, so it can likely be cured easily.

That means something is wrong. Was the bike starting and running installed the KLX kit? If it was, you need to start over and double check everything, step by step.
