Welcome to the first episode of the 110 build. Big plans for this pitter, so many accesible parts that don’t completely burn a whole in your wallet. Today we put on the BBR D3 Full system, gave a how to sequence and a nice put around the neighborhood. I’d like to add this comment in here, your factory jetting on klx’s are very lean. If you rejet along with this exhaust or the yoshi exhaust you will gain a very noticeable amount of power. You can rejet with the stock exhaust and still gain a lot of power

Do you know what main jet to get for this pipe?

@@Jerrythemelon34 I do not but if you check some videos on jetting for the yoshi full systems on stock carbs I’d bet money they’re dead on. Since I went with aftermarket carb I didn’t care to rejet mine

I just picked up a new one today and the bike idles and rides fine, but I can tell it needs to be rejetted. Just gonna wait till I get a pipe to do that my main priorities are making the bike fit my size.

@@jollyshrimpo if you can get your hands on one the BBR u flows go great with this kit. Kinda helps smooth out the carbs reactivity so it doesn’t want to lean out if you go to snap the throttle. I had mine pretty well dialed but it would still big sometimes when I grabbed throttle too fast.

@@jollyshrimpo might I add it will locate the air filter around the stock airbox area so either the uflow will come with a bracket to replace the airbox and hold your shroud or you may have to get one from fasterminis or factoryminibikes

So I ordered a new exhaust gasket because mine was old and when I installed it it leaks when it's running how do I fix this?

My only guess would be to go tighter since the gasket is new. Or maybe there’s some material still stuck in there

I’d also take the rear of the exhaust loose and tightened the header pipe fully before attaching the back half if you didn’t do it that way

Was this with the quiet screen on the inside?

Yes, kept that red insert and spark arrestor in. Exhaust is pretty loud even with those is though

I actually want to correct myself since I learned this later on. BBR pipes don’t come with silencers/quiet insert. You have to purchase them separately so this is the raw sound of the D3

At 4:02 you start removing the exhaust. I noticed everything is reversed on your bike: the brake pedal, the kickstart lever, the exhaust pipe routing, just to name a few -- all on the left side of your bike. All these things are on the right side of my bike. What kind of model do you have?

It is standard, I was just recording with my phone on the front facing view which flips visuals so I could tell how well the video was placed in frame. This is something I could’ve flipped and fixed before posting, sorry for the confusion
