Charles is such an amazing coach who not only explains the tecnique in great details but also guides his students to explain some of the moves so that they'll truly understand, learn and pass on the knowledge in the future. Golden content!

Thanks for the videos. I’m a beginner and I don’t think there is anyone on KZbin who explains things as well as you do. Explaining to a child is genius - then anyone can understand. 🙏 thank you

Coach your videos amazing. No "throw this combo with a partner" without any explanation "when" and "why". Also this 5:14 is amazing for a kid his age. Great fight iq

Any advice for getting si joint inflammation from muay thai kicking?
@howardlam618110 ай бұрын
do more massage to increase blood flow to the joint. Pretty much the only thing you can do especially if you're not a teenager any more.

I've seen other martial artists kick with the free leg, is that just show boating or an actual move like a hook or a body shot?
@gowiththeflow36310 ай бұрын
It's legitimate, but not very common in Kickboxing/Muai Thai, as it doesn't really practice jumping kicks. It's also not very easy in any capacity lol

@@gowiththeflow363 Yeah what he's saying it can work in the Ring cause if you hit the Ground your on Canvas. But even that especially if you don't train yourself to fall to lessen the impact and damage can hurt like hell. It's the Pinnacle of High Risk High Reward type moves if you can generate some power and catch them off guard. But pulling it off without falling on your Ass or Back is damn near Impossible without Cat Like Reflexes.

It can work. It can also massively back fire. I had a student ask me about it once and i asked if he was confident he could knock me out with it. He said No so then I asked where are you after the kick then. On the ground with me still holding his leg. Basically its high risk with very low probability of any damage thats worth it.
@dr.dylansgame55839 ай бұрын
@@pumkinmuscles1104 True the only way for it to do any decent damage is if you can Grit your Other Foot and Gain Enough Leverage to Throw it with Power. It's like trying to Generate Body Shot Power in the Clench Point Blank. While possible most people just don't have the Athletisim to actually use it well.
