the NEX 3x3 was avalable at my local meijer which is like a smaller but still big brand version of walmart so i had to rescue it and make it good

I can imagine this being available in stores, while not a great cube, MUCH more likely someone who buys a cube in a whim to keep cubing using this vs a Rubik's brand cube, and this being cheaper than a Rubik's brand is probably helpful in that as well.

I actually think those are nonmagnetic MeiLong Cubes, as someone I know bought these and said they were MeiLongs, which are bad out of the box, but okay after setup. Maybe if you open up a MeiLong maybe the piece design is the same.

The mofang meilong that you said people should get instead of the kmart cube is actually my main. I have bought more expensive ones (not super high end but supposedly better) and I still prefer that one. Also sushi without avocado is the best. Ting boy randomness is correct.

This 2x2 Nexcube was my first Cube (September 2021). Bought it at a toy store. It got me hooked and got some amazing (3x3) cubes and different puzzles after this one. But still need a better 2x2.

The 3x3 is decent with some lube it’s a bit blocky but it works very well for a non magnetic budget cube once you have some lube applied

Usually me and My Dad go out on Friday Nights to Buy snacks For the Night, Since on Fridays we stay Up super Late and Stuff. But anyhow, As a Cuber, Every time we Go to Walmart i ask Dad if I Can go to The Toy Isle to see if They Ever have Any speed cubes. Went to WalMart 2 days ago.Originally,looking for an LED light string. While roaming the aisles,I ran across the Nexcube 2x2 and 3x3. Bought them.Took them home,and loosened n lubed them up some. I agree...sure needs magnets. But to be fair,back when cubing started,our cubes had no magnets,and cublets were squared corners. So,to buy them to add to your collection,not a bad price.Not a bad cube.I think my 3x3 ran me 7 bucks.Dont remember the price of the 2x2.I bought it tho,since I have no 2x2 cubes in my collection.
