@@hjm9571 The main guy who writes most of the songs thinks it didn't fit the album. It is literally the best song on this album, and the other tracks are ALL amazing. Despite Juke Joint Jezebel being their most well known song (since it appeared on the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack), and one that gives them a shitload of royalties, they wont play it live and it's not included on their greatest hits compilation. And that my friend, is a travesty.

I just realised they usd KMFDM in both the Street Fighter 2 Animated Movie and in Mortal Kombat. In SF2 the song they used was 'Ultra' and in MK they used 'Juke Joint Jezebel'. What's extra cool though is that those two songs are side by side on the album :D

I remember about 13 years ago waking up under a bridge starting my day.. I had this weird stereo contraption I made with a boom box, carrying strap, and rigged mp3 aux player remote thingy.. I played this song really loud to get prepared for what the day would bring.. Then across the street this guy in dreads who also crashed there overnight came over with a big smile and said he couldn't believe he wakes up outside to hear that song he liked jamming out.. he ended up smoking me out and sharing a little of his story before we parted ways.. Though that time in my life is over and I have no wish or reason to return to it.. I did have wonky experiences to reflect on from time to time..

Not only does Jennifer Ginsberg (the backing vocalist during the chorus) have a good voice, she also has one of the loveliest smiles I've ever seen!

Right! Wished she did a lot more vocals for KMFDM, or music in general. She had great stage presence/dance moves as well.

Just a heads up since everyone talks about them being in film. They were also in Johnny Mnemonic with Keanu Reaves and Henry Rollins(Rollins band, duh!). Yeah, the 90s weren't all depressing. Some great sh!t came out of it too.

I was all set to hear some Rockabilly song about a Juke Joint... I was _very_ pleasantly surprised. Never heard of this band, but must count myself as a fan already
