Just get one of those people that do the ground sonar to find masses. They do this to find graves instead of digging all over the place. They then do stakes and ribbons pike land surveyers to mark each grave corner to corner. Most of the time headstones get moved when grass cutting or even from soil erosion and rain washing them bit by bit. The land can look level and foat to the naked eye but actually be unlevel causing headstones to move a foot or so over by a decade or more time this is why they reinforce headstones today with a mounting base and rebar. Back then headstones were harder to tend the landscape and grass. Thats why they are mostly flat now. Its so the cemeteries can cut large lots of graves without having to worry about hitting or moving anything. The run right over them. Cutting them back on time and money and actually being able to have more plots /selling more plots, more land. Even though when you pay for it its suppose to include care for all time. As upkeep with the rest of the property as the owners of said land. I believe the old ladybis wrong. The reason why?? That woman was there when that baby was put i the ground. The momma. The headstone with the lamb. Definitely 1950s. So 50 years and the headstone has been sitting there which is where she visited. Im sure 100% she would know where they put him in the ground. And in 50 years if the people of that property knew he wasnt there but indeed the headstone why in the damn hell would they not say anything until the momma wants to get buried there. That lady with the glasses aint right. The guy across the street seems to have his stuff together. How is she so sure??? Unless she was there the day they put him in the ground and accirding to her that would have been across the street. So they let a headstone be placed and sit for 50 years with a woman visiting and never said anything? But she is so sure she goes and prints a copy of death certificate even though it looks like someone placed something to blank out the originally copy, wrote something else. Then made a copy of that. Btw it was not a law and many cemeteries did NOT keep records of who was buried where. As always changing things over from hand written documents typing into a computer all these old records one after another MANY things get messed up unintentionally. Like in school where you would be copying somethi g and then realize you missed and entire sentence. Or rewrite the same few words twice. And handwriting back then, age of papers, and they guessed at spelling which is how so many names are messed up on genealogical sites like ancestry. That baby is right there with his headstone. Get a ground penetrating surveyor to come find the mass to the headstone. It will show size and depth of a child size. They can tell. Please update

Now, I just wanted to let all of you know that if family members or the diseased choose to be buried at a cemetery, the funeral home will contact the cemetery to make arrangements before the funeral service.

Cemeteries refusing to bury their loved ones is not good and that is upsetting the family.

Generally if the plot/lot is already paid for the only cost would be the opening and closing of the grave. Cemeteries also require a burial vault for the Casket to be placed in. If the family refuses pay for the opening and closing costs then yes the Cemetery can refuse to inter that individual

Cemeteries cannot refused to bury a woman like that.

Not sure was the Plot paid for?? What does the Deed say? Seems odd

I do not know anything about the laws in Missouri, I live in Oklahoma. So, I do not know what the deed say.

The Funeral Home should contact the cemetery to make arrangements.

If there is no deed then not sure how the family was buried there in the first place. Seems odd that this lady say's people are buried there illegallly? What kind of Cemetery buries someone without a deed to the plot?? Moreover, she doesn't seem to know how to run a Cemetery. My first question to the family is did they pay for that spot and where is the deed there supposed to have?? Really? It looks like a church run Cemetery so they might not have had deeds back then they just buried their congregation on donations etc. If that is the case then that family if they gave to that church finanically etc. that alone should give them the right to bury their mother. Poor operation all the way around.
