okay, my theory: Jin went back in time and caused the butterfly effect, which is the phenomenon whereby a small change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere. He changed events. When you change one past event, it has ripples. In INU, Taehyung kills his father in a bedroom. In EUPHORIA, the scene is shifted to where Hoseok somehow is there, the father not, therefore we can assume Taehyung now did NOT kill his father. In PROLOGUE video, Taehyung jumps off the structure, whether literally or symbolically, but I think it represents his unrest or shows how he feels like he’s drowning because of what he’s going through rather than suicide. Some people think he’s killing himself, but I don’t think every shot should be taken literally. Sure, if he was trying to kill himself, I think the other members wouldn’t just sit there and do nothing when they then try to stop each other doing things in other parts of their videos. In EUPHORIA, Jin is instead on the structure, with Taehyung safe below, watching, no longer having the desire to ever do something like that because now he never killed his dad. Jin went back and somehow changed events so that they had different results, saving the members from their suffering and taking their place instead, all in order to give them happiness. Them running around together in EUPHORIA shows that. Since he went back in time, the current timeline is what we see in EUPHORIA, and it’s become a parallel universe. It’s become the beginning, which is what the chinese character for the album represents. However, the definition of EUPHORIA is a short period of happiness. Any storyline regarding time travel does not end well, because you can’t just change the past without consequences and paradoxes. This happiness won’t last. We will be shown the consequences of Jin’s actions. The chinese characters in the album names represent a plotline structure. The one for Wonder is the beginning, with HER being a middle ground, the third one being climax, and the fourth being the resolution. They started with middle rather than beginning, because now with this one, with Jin changing things, it’s a new beginning. A new story. A new timeline and universe. In BST JPN VER, Seokjin is beside a wormhole. I think the BST JPN version is one instance of the timeline, because though it’s very related to the storyline, the events there are repeated (like sitting around the fire and hoseok dropping his pills into the fire as he has done before), therefore it’s another timeline, but one that didn’t go right. Taehyung is still acting out and Jin is sorry, as he tells him when they’re fighting. Also, Jimin walks into a room with himself, and the moment he sees himself, he’s flung through time and space, the timeline disrupting and collapsing, the video ending with glass shattering as though that timeline was gone. Plus, the entire video is very ... surreal. At MAMA last december, the name of BTS’ intro performance was “Beyond Wormhole.” Dont put it past BTS to include their storyline in award show performances, because the very next day at Melon, the VCR/screen said Wonder and more, hinting at what we now know is this video. So basically, the wormhole is how Jin is time traveling. Wormholes are thought to be a method of travel through time and space. “Beyond wormhole” could mean that this EUPHORIA video is the result of Jin going beyond the wormhole. regarding the butterfly effect definitely being a part of this, bts have always used butterflies in their HYYH M/Vs. theyre in every hyyh video. not only that, there are butterflies on the hyyh album covers, and, the song butterfly is played during the prologue. up until now, I always thought that the song was a romantic song, which it is, but it also can relate to the storyline. the lyrics says "Will you stop time If this moment passes As though it hadn’t happened I’m scared scared scared I’ll lose you" also "You shine in this pitch darkness that is the butterfly effect Your light touches, I forget the reality at once" THEY LITERALLY SAY IT IN THE LYRICS my friend said: like what if everytime Jin goes back in time, yes it changes the outcome, but what if it negatively effects each character and in the end Jin realizes that no matter how many times he tries to fix things, he's only making it worse for them And I said this regarding jimin being alone: maybe...maybe they ARE all happy together, but because of jin's actions, one thing he couldnt fix is jimin being in the hospital. in the hyyh notes, jimin is in the hospital because he has seizures. jin cant suddenly made jimin well like that. so jin fixed what he could, but he couldnt fix everything. so when jimin is not in the hospital, he's with the others, but that still doesnt fix that sometimes he has seizures and has to be in the hospital, where he's probably wishing he were with the members in those moments and not in the hospital to finish: in the highlight reel narration, jin says "If we can rewind time, where should we go back to? Once we reach that place, can we correct all the errors and mistakes, and can we then become happy? There are places that can’t be reached no matter how many seasons repeat. In the end, what we have to face is breaking through yet another storm. Loving without fear. Parting from hesitation. Living as who I am" jin cant fix everything, and he knows it. Euphoria is fleeting.

Ill say a summary of the theory going around haha. So Jin was changing the past to save his friends, he saved Tae by replacing Jhope with his father so that he never commits murder, which means Tae doesn't jump off that thing at the end to commit suicide from guilt. Remember how Jhope was taking pills and fainted in the other MVs, he ended up in the hospital with Jimin. Jimin was in the hospital because he was drowning himself in the tub. But shown in this mv, Jhope ends up leaving Jimin to go to Tae. So Jimin is all alone :( and people think that this mv was jimins hallucination as you saw when he was running in the hallway alone and thinking he was with the gang. And throughout the video Jimin was alone. Jk saves Suga when he set his room on fire, which was shown in another mv. But everyone thinks to do this Jin has to sacrifice himself which is why he ends up on the thing at the end. In Spring Day mv Jimin finds a pair of white shoes in the sea, which is what Jin was wearing on the that wooden thing. When Tae was up there he was wearing black boots. So they think Jin has to sacrifice himself for his friends. Now Im still not fully clear on RMs and Jks story, but we gone get more clues when the new album comes out!

OMG, I just had a theory!! What if jumping in that sea is a way to the other side? People think Jin travel through time, but how he does it, right? My theory in a nutshell.... Jin is the one controlling the events, he jumps from the tower to save V which is why V is being lifted from the water in the last scene. He also takes Jungkook from the mental hospital to save Hobi from the fire but that then leaves Jimin alone there which is why Jimin is celebrating his birthday thinking everyone is there but in truth he is alone

SUPER LONG BUT READ ALL OF IT TO GET RID OF ANY CONFUSSION (GIRLS READ THIS) The Most Agreed With Theory Going Around: Jin most certainly is a time traveler and is alive. The rest of the gang is alive too, they all are his best friends. From the HYYH series, Suga kills himself from burning his place, J-Hope kills himself on the bridge bcuz of the OD on drugs, RM Starts to smoke and most likely kills himself by dropping his lit cigarette onto the dollar bills at the gas station. Tae kills his father which leads him to killing himself by jumping off the metal structure at the pier as seen in the BTS "Prologue". Jimin drowns himself in the hospital in the tub because he is left alone when J-Hope dies of the OD. Jungkook is killed in the car crash. As we see this Euphoria clip we have noted this..... Jin has been shown numerous times opening up his curtains in his dark rooms, this symbolizes him looking into different time periods. Here Jin is in his room, opens the curtains and sees the fire in the room. He see's Suga killing himself like we saw during the HYYH era. Jin puts his hand up and holds it there showing his face through the window in this Euphoria clip. Him holding his hand up is symbolizing the changes he's making to the past. Next you see Jungkook save Suga which is different from what we saw before, before we saw Suga actually die but now the past has been changed by Jin where Suga is saved by Jungkook. Next, J-Hope is seen leaving Jimin from the hospital. This is where is may be different from opinion to opinion, J-Hope is either (A) Sleep walking because he has this condition and Jimin is stoping him from aimlessly walking down stairs which would hurt him or (B) This is a controlled J-Hope by Jin. It can be either because in the end J-Hope gets to Tae before he can kill his father, either from a call from other member ie. Jungkook/Suga or Jin controlled him to help save Tae. We can see this by the now changed scenes, the scene shows a room with J-Hope now instead of the dead father. This stops the Tae jumping off into the water incident from not happening saving him. These events lead to RM not to smoke as we see the altered universe where Jin meets/saves RM with his Euphoria hair thus having the gas station fire incident not happing at all. So Suga, RM, Tae, J-Hope are saved. With all the boys still alive, they come support and then finally celebrate the release of Jimin from the hospital as we see them celebrating and leaving the hospital. Jin has saved everyone to his belief. This is now the altered universe or utopia Jin has created where all the members are saved, alive and happy and together like what Jin wanted. The Euphoria era of the Love Yourself albums is showing the utopia Jin made. In this Euphoria clip, you see a new version of previous events ie: RM picking up Tae from the mattress. We saw this differently in the HYYH era and a bunch more. Jin has saved everyone............. he thinks. Jin goes to the top on the metal structure and shooting the camera above the members is him symbolizing him looking over the members. This is where there is big speculation, either Jin jumps to replace Tae as a sacrifice or Jin throws the camera ONLY. I think its the camera thats thrown only which symbolizes Jin throwing away his ability to look/change the future or past because he thinks he has done everything he needed to do to save the members. This is where he is wrong! Jungkook is seen at the very end still HIT BY THE CAR. In the altered universe Jin created, Jungkook still gets hit and dies!!!!!! I believe we will start seeing more ties with Omelas (Spring Day) since there is a utopia world now where one person suffers (Jungkook) and I feel like we will start to see more ties with the Blood, Sweat, and Tears era as Jin may kiss the fallen angle as a wish for the last chance to save Jungkook from dying in the car incident. As to why Jungkook was still in the wrong place at the wrong time to still get hit by the car despite being happy and together with the members is something I guess we will get in Love Yourself: Answer

IN ADDITION TO SOME SPECULATION PEOPLE MAY HAVE AFTER READING MY FIRST POST ^^ About Tae, J-Hope, and His Father: The thing is Tae still cut his hand from breaking the glass that he used trying to kill his father as seen as his hands bandage up after the alteration made by Jin in the new utopia. This means Tae got to the point of breaking the glass (We even see the glass broken in the middle of the room) almost to the point of stabbing his father. I believe J-Hope came and intervened stopping Tae from killing his father and his father ran away or left the room. This is why we don't see the father in the room and we see J-Hope almost seemed relieved and also out of breath almost. Most likely the father ran away because seeing your son almost trying to kill you is traumatic. Tae not killing his father was a chain reaction preventing him to not jump off the metal structure because killing your own father is traumatic and hard to live with knowing you took his life, this probably caused suicidal thoughts. Since he didn't do it in the new universe, Tae didn't have those thoughts and was able to live with the members being more happy. About Jimin's situation: Yes J-Hope did leave Jimin alone, but it was just to save Tae. This doesn't mean he never went back to Jimin and same thing goes for the rest of the members. You have to see the scene with Jimin running alone and then running with the members as the the changing between the old universe and the new universe. The old universe, J-Hope dies by the drug overdose which really leaves Jimin behind, he is trapped in the hospital which we can see by him running to the doors but stopping right before them, this universe the rest of the members die in there respective way unable to save Jimin. But because we see the new altered universe coming in where Tae is saved, Suga is saved by Jungkook, J-Hope doesn't overdose by drugs and RM doesn't start to smoke; All the boys are together and support/celebrate Jimin getting out of the hospital. I know this is the new altered universe because i can verify it with the new "All Black" hair everyone has. We see that Jimin is throwing away his hospital gown at one point running to the door. This symbolizes that Jimin doesn't belong in the hospital anymore and we see Jimin putting on a new shirt as he runs to the doors with the members which symbolizes he has left and belongs in the world with the members. This means that Jimin is saved from the hospital with all the members. Conclusion: I strongly believe that Jungkook is the suffering child of Omelas. I also believe that Tae has caught on to the fact that Jin is making these changes and Jungkook figures out ie. being told by Tae. Once Jungkook figures out he asks Jin "hyung, is that it? there's more you're hiding from us, isnt there?". I believe this causes Jungkook to outlash because the knows that the reality he is living is a lie. This outlash causes him to be in the wrong place and the wrong time again resulting in the car incident killing Jungkook OOOOORRRRR JUNGKOOK IS STILL ALIVE AFTER THE CAR INCIDENT AND IS JUST PUT IN A WHEELCHAIR BEING PARALYZED LIKE WE SAW IN THE HIGHLIGHT REAL OF Love Yourself: Her. We won't actually know until Love Yourself: Answer or Love Yourself: Tear.

My theory: Jimin is in a mental facility that symbolizes he’s ‘alone’ , but then it switches to show his friends that left him. Like how he’s pulling Jhope with a scared look, but Jhope leaves to save Taehyung. There are pairs; Suga and Jungkook, Jhope and Tae, and Namjoon and Jin. Jin has to leave Jimin behind to save everyone else, which causes the butterfly effect. In the short film; AWAKE, he drops an apple which I think symbolizes Jimin since in Jimin’s film he has an apple and he eats it. There was another theory that I thought was interesting; the boys are Jimin’s other personalities that slowly fade away. The Jimin with the rest of the boys was his innocent side, and as they slowly fade away; all that is left is Jimin’s dark side, which is why he’s in the asylum. I also think Jhope was the one friend Jimin had in the hospital, but Jhope doesn’t have a real mental disorder. In MAMA, it shows that he put himself into a prison that he can only get himself out of. He was put in the hospital because his mother abandoned him. But in the MAMA short film; Jhope gets himself out of his prison. But he leaves Jimin alone. Which shows in LIE; when Jimin throws a pillow at the other cot, that had no one there. To me; the pairs have been in a lot of comebacks; and Jimin is by himself. Which again, I think is another sign that he is alone. But remember, Jin had the control to choose what happened in the future (via butterfly effect.) and he decided to save everyone else instead of Jimin; and if he did save Jimin the effects were shown in I NEED U and the short films.
