If you look back at the HYYH notes, they said that only Jungkook and Jin (maybe one of the others) actually knew it was Jun that hit Jungkook with his car. All the others only know that Jungkook was hit by a car, they didn’t know who,and they said in the notes that they would keep it a secret because of how the rest of them reacted to the initial situation

now i get the whole picture finally 😭 HERE I HAVE SOME THEORY The first time is Prologue. There're 7 kids who grow a friendship and have happy times (when they're playing around at the empty pool etc) together. and also the other happy times like at the RUN MV when they're partying here and there, make a mess as an excitement of their youthful times (by making illegal mural, blocking the way and make a messed at the tunnel). it was their happy times together. but somehow they grew apart, and this is the time where they're falling in love (THIS HIGHLIGHT REEL MV) with the girls. at this time, they have their each problem with their girls. just like V who got arrested and have no choice but to get in jailed and left his girl alone, and then there's jungkook who come to visit his girl again after he discharged but the girl is passed away, jimin who grew apart with jhope cause he like the same girl, jhope who depressed cause his girl is sick and i think that girl is dead ontheway, suga who's got into a fight with his girl, RM who's one sided love, and Jin who's his girl is being in hit and run. these lead them to depression. and after got discharged from jail, V who has an alcoholic and abused father is killed him when his father try to harm his sister (or mother). V is full of guilty and when he and his member go to the beach, he killed him self by jumping of the tower after being with the members for the last times. V's death and the deppression the member have long ago caused by their girls bring misery to the members, and it lead them to kill themselves or being killed by various occasions in I NEED U MV. just like RM who died from the explosion, jungkook who's being hit by a car, jimin who try to drowned himself, jhope who collapsed at the bridge, and suga who burned himself. but Jin is the one who's sane and didn't attempt suicide or being killed. and actually the other member are dead except jin and also jimin who's brought to the mental hospital. Jimin who's in a mental hospital is hallucinating that jhope is by him side cause jhope is his closest one. and he start to reminiscing and hallucinating the good times they have together just like in RUN MV. but in EUPHORIA MV and also RUN MV jin were going back in time and try to make everything be right by helping here and there, placing them to help and all. but actually it was just for a short moment but an extreme happiness (Euphoria) cause actually Jin need to take the consequence for turning back in time by killing himself (you can see the camera is shaking after Jin Recording the member from up there for the last time, which mean he's jump of the tower. and V's face telling that he got dejavu cause he feel like he ever be in that situation). that's why in the RUN MV Jin keep having that "reminder" face (just like when they're playing cards) cause he knows he needs to take the consequence of being that happy. after jin suicide, the real destiny is still goes on but this time is caused by Jin's death. cause eventho jin is already try to change it, but destiny is still destiny. the member is all feeling miserable after jin death, so jungkook still dead from being hit by car (that's why jungkook being hit is shown at the last sec of EUPHORIA MV for telling us that the destiny still goes on), RM still dead from explosion, Jhope still dead from collapsing, Suga still burned to death, V still dead from jumping of the tower and Jin already dead from jump also (after he turn back the time). so the member is all dead except for jimin. jimin is left by himself at the mental hospital. and he start to reminiscing and hallucinating that the member is still with him. that's why in EUPHORIA MV jimin were acting like he's with the member but actually he's alone (just like when he's playing by himself in the cafetaria). Jimin is the main at EUPHORIA MV and jungkook is like a distraction (cause he's the one who sing this as Solo) to make us confused from the main story. if you hear the lyrics, i think it was actually what jimin feels. and the last sentence in EUPHORIA MB is also from jimin who finally found out that jin is take consequence for turning back in time. thats why he said "hyung, is that all? there's nothing you're hiding anymore right?" like that.. and i think jimin found out about Jin turning back in time after checking his video recording. cause Jin is recorded all of that happened before and after he turn back in time. sorry if im wrong but this is what i got from it 😂😭

Because he hit jungkook with his car, jin goes back in time to try to undo it but by undoing it, it caused a bunch of other shit to happen(tae killing his dad, namjoon setting the gas station on fire, yoongi killing himself, etc...) so he tries to undo everything again(dragging jungkook in to save yoongi(when he was moving his finger on the window), getting hoseok to prevent tae from killing his father, getting namjoon to pick up the bill instead of setting the station on fire, etc...), which is seen by how the blood starts to rewind/undo, but that resulted in jimin being left alone without hoseok. realizing that at least one of them has to suffer no matter what, that everyone can't have a happy ending, jin sacrifices himself, jumping off the platform instead of tae, which is represented by the rewind of tae falling in the water and the camera that jin holds appearing to fall instead. Also, back when jungkook was suicidal and was about to jump off the roof, the video pans to a frontal view of his face and he begins to smile and at the end, it's jin who smiles after he's jumped. All this is to represent how jin's taking all their pain in place of them. Soung familiar? It's the omelas story: one person taking on the burden that allows everyone else to be happy. This parallels jin sacrificing himself for the other 6 to live on: he's the boy in omelas. If you read the lyrics from awake from jin's perspective on that platform, as he's about to jump, it fits perfectly.

Abiyah Santhosh the big main 'jin is time traveling' theory has been put together by various ARMYs from communities like twitter, reddit, etc.... but I realize the similarities to omelas when I saw all the parallels between jin and almost everyone else. I remembered Awake having a line about 'those 6 flowers over there' and figured I could incorporate that into my theory to further prove jin is trying to save them so I went back and looked at the Awake lyrics but after reading through them, I realized it matched up with what Jin was probably thinking while on that platform.

A lot of people are misunderstanding what bighit said about this video. This is still part of the comeback, but they meant that this wasn't the music video for the album. It's similar to the Highlight Reels that were released before Love Yourself: Her, where they were teasing for the new album. This is all to say that BTS releasing this video shows that they are having their comeback really dang soon and Euphoria will probably be the intro to Love Yourself: Wonder.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT. Basically what many theories say is that Jin is time travelling to save their lives but everytime he tries someone else ends up dead. Like, he places Hobi with Tae so he doesn't kill his step father but at the same time since Hobi is not with Jimin in the mental hospital, Jimin dies. Or he jumps in the water instead of Taehyung so he saves Tae, but then he's not there to save Jungkook when the car is about to hit him so Jungkook dies, and so on. He keeps going back to fix things, but because of the butterfly effect, he automatically causes someone else to suffer. He can't save everyone.

My teory: Everyone was 'saved' except Jimin, one sacrificed for the other, and Jimin left, he's the only one left behind, alone. As I said in HighLight Reel 'I lied because there is no reason to love me', seokjin saved namjoon, jungkook saved yoongi, hoseok saved / supported taehyung, and jimin was alone and had to save himself! Jimin wants his friends to come back and take him out of his own hell, the fact is that Jimin is often shown alone through the ages. He's been trapped in your hell for a long time. He is often shown restrained and bound by something he can not control, Hoseok leaves Jimin because he needs to prevent Taehyung from stabbing his father. He knows that Taehyung will face the consequences that he does not really deserve. The result of the Hoseok / not / stopped Taehyung, is shown in stigma, which is why Hoseok leaves in a hurry, to stop the stab the Tae would give, which results in the wound in Tae's hand, Jimin, panic because that his only friend is gone, he tries to stop Hoseok, but Hoseok is determined to rectify the situation. Once again, Jimin is left alone. I have an assumption that Jimin knows that Hoseok can get hurt, so try to stop him. Another example is when Jimin is isolated in highlight reel. When Jimin and the girl get hurt, Hoseok only cares for her, taking her to the hospital to repair the problem. As he leaves /// again /// Jimin suffer alone. I'm not trying to say hoseok is a terrible friend. Honestly, what he's doing is similar to what Seokjin does. When something horrible happens, it tries to fix, but fixing one thing, something else is ignored. And the ignored thing manifests itself and grows larger. This thing is going to attack, and maybe cause a fight. The once forgotten thing becomes something more sinister, and that may be the cause of BS & t JPN vers, where the boy finds the Lie. Hoseok and Jimin meet once again in a battle between what they think is right, but maybe it's not a fight. If they are just parallels? one lives in a lie while the other resists what he believes to be evil. Jimin and hoseok are often described in similar poses, they need each other, but they continue to be separated in some way, Jimin lives on the lie that his friends will return to him, that one day they can all be reunited and happy again. Who will meet at sea once more.

MY THOUGHTS: - basically in our theories from hyyh era (i need you - prologue - run - young forever) everyone died except jin - here in euphoria, jin travels back in time fix mistakes and save the members - if you notice 1:31, tae killed his father, however later, you see hoseok is sitting in the same place that taes father was lying - that means jin was able to travel back in time and change the timeline/create an alternate universe - in this universe, hoseok was able to save tae, jin was able to save namjoon and jk was able to pull yoongi from the fire - however no one saved jimin, the alternate universe jin created was not perfect MY THOUGHTS ON JIMIN'S STORY - if you remember from the highlight reel/wings short films, jhope was abandoned by his parents, and due to the abandonment he developed a mental disorder, was admitted to the same ward as jimin, and they became friends - in this universe, jhope was able to get better, and left jimin behind - you can also see in his short film 'lie', even though jimin is alone, there are 2 hospital beds and jimin reaches his hands to the other bed, even though there is no one there (jhope left him) - jimin was left by himself - jimin's mental health kept getting worse, and the happy scenes you see are all jimins hallucinations (eg. 3:44 , 4:07) vs scenes like 4:09 which are reality. he is alone - at 5:14 you can see jimin is wearing the same shirt that jhope wore in his 'daydream' MV, meaning that all of this is jimin's daydream ANOTHER THING IS - jin knew that he'd have to sacrifice jimin before he created this universe, however he still does it to save everyone else - in jimin's short film 'lie' we see jimin biting into a big red apple - in jin's short film 'awake' theres the same apple - the apple symbolises jimin, and jin tossed it on the floor, meaning jin decided to sacrifice jimin to save the rest of the members i think jin's smile at the end is because he is content that he saved 5 lives? but then the korean basically asks something along the lines of "hyung is there something you're not telling us?" the question is because jin knew about jimin the whole time

So my theory is that, we know that Jin has been time traveling because he wanted to fix his mistakes and save the boys from the pain and suffering due to the deaths of the other members. So he goes to the past and realizes that the key to fix it all is Kookie. So that's why they showed the clip where kookie got hit but instead, he didn't. Which creates a chain that ends up saving everyone else. Jin goes back into time and saves Namjoom by preventing him from throwing the cigarette which lit the gas station. By saving kookie, Kookie then saves Suga from dying, which then prevents Jimin from committing suicide in the bathtub. Jimin committed suicide because of the other members deaths, but no one died. So he had no reason to commit suicide. And since Jimin didn't commit suicide he is able to save Hobi from overdose, and since Hobi didn't die, he was able to answer V's phone call about his father and rushed to prevent V from stabbing his father. You can tell this was the case because the blood from the room was dissappearing. Which is why it shows V in the water, but it also rewinds the time as if it never happened in the first place. Jin then climbs up onto the scaffolding with his camera. But since we didn't see him jump then we can't assume he jumped off. if you notice he takes a deep sigh, which could mean that after all of his hard work, he finally saved the boys. So he shows them one more time with his camera and then throws the camera into the water. why? Because that camera has everything in it, from his past to the new future. So he throws the past mistakes they all did away and smiles at the end because they can finally be happy. The quote at the end means the boys are asking Jin what happened and why he threw the camera into the water and only he knows the truth. And that's my theory. lol

Okay so this is gonna be long, and I myself am not sure if any of this is right but, from what I understand (and from what I've been seeing online about the theories revolving around this video) is that basically Jin goes back in time to save everyone. Back in the Run era (which included Run, The Prologue (the video where Tae jumps off, Namjoon helps Tae up from The dirty bed, ect.), and I need U), there were a lot of theories about Jin being dead. If this is true it would make sense when it comes to the other videos. I need U and Run showed the boys acting chaotic and even suicidal at points (Tae killing his dad, Hobi drinking the pills and overdosing, Jimin drowning himself in the bath tub, Yoongi setting himself on fire, etc), and all of this was speculated to have happened because of Jins death. And in those 2 videos, they show "happy moments" between all 7 of the boys, but there are also theories saying that that was just Jin's happy place. His heaven per say, and that in reality all the boys were suffering in the real world. But eventually Jin starts to realize that's it's not real (hence why you seem him looking confused at both the camera directly, and in the end of the Prologue where he looks at a picture of him and another member that was taken earlier in the video, but said member is no longer there and it's just Jin by himself). Because of his sudden realization, Jin tries to fix everything, since he doesn't want them to continue to suffer anymore than they already are. So he goes back in time. (It was already speculated that Jin had time traveled in the highlight reels with all the girls and the members, but Jim not sure if that connects with this or not) But yes Jin succeeds in traveling back in time. He manages to get Jungkook to save Yoongi from killing himself, he himself picks up the money that would eventually have caught fire due to RM dropping the cigarette on the ground thus catching the gas station on fire, and manages to have Hobi stop Tae from killing his dad. But because of this, Jin creates a butterfly affect. Jimin is now alone (As seen in the shot on the staircase where jimin is reaching out to Hobi who seems to be leaving, and is even crying. Hes also completely alone in several of the scenes that we see throughout this video). But ever since the Run era there have always been pairs amongst the group (and this stays true even in the wings era, which can be seen a for a little bit when they show Jin in the white room with the bed in the beginning of the video. The same room from his short film, Awake). But the pairs have always been there: RM and V. Suga and Jungkook. Hobi and Jimin. And Jin was always by himself. But now it's all messed up, and jimin is now by himself. Seeing this, Jin realizes that someone always has to suffer for the happiness of everyone else. This correlates back to Omelas, the story that we see in the video Spring Day. Remember, the story of Omelas revolved around a child who has to suffer to assure the happiness of everyone else. So seeing this Jin chooses himself as the sacrifice and decides to Jump off instead of Tae. That's why when he jumps off and it cuts to tae in the water and then rewinding itself, it simulates that Tae didnt jump off and instead was Jin. (Although it seems as if Tae knows that something is wrong, since he looks pretty confused when he looks at Jin and the other members are happy and waving to him to come back down. V is the only one who doesn't wave and is instead very confused since he can sense that something is wrong). However, Jin is now "happy" for the second that we see him smile, thinking that he saved everyone. The last bit with the words, I'm not too sure. I dont fully remember what it said exactly, but I know that it was asking "Huyng" (who I'm going to assume is Jin) if theres something else. More to story I guess you could say. Maybe it's the members slowly figuring out what's going on, since they've been oblivious to all that's been going on? Again I not sure, and I could completely be overthinking this, and sorry it was so long!

HERE IS THE TRUE EXPLANATION FOR THE HIGHLIGHT REEL. Love' is making a comeback in BTS's work after two albums, BUT, if you can notice, the boys are thinking about each other and missing each other. Then they find new friends who are girls. The girls inspire them (Namjoon's girl working hard, Jhope's girl) ,protect them (Yoongi's girl giving him lollipops instead of cigarettes), rekindle feelings in them (jungkook's girl making him come out of his shell, V wanting to protect the bad girl who was stealing because she's probably going through a rough patch just like our bad boy;V the street artist who breaks the law - thats their connection), care for them (Jhope's girl). The last line shows how after feeling betrayed by all these close friends who went their separate ways and in Jhope's case, being abandoned by his mom is causing them to doubt and fear new commitment and new love. All of them feel that they can't be loved, and if they are loved, they will be betrayed. But to love love another, one must first, love oneself. This is what the reels mean. Its about finding affection again. The whole concept is NOT a love line thing. Its idea of doubt and fear in relationships. BTS shows us that even with lyrics that sound like love songs in Young Forever, in the MVs, love is much more than just love between man and woman. Hence my quote on quote on love. I hope you get this and not miss the actual point of the video because of the girls. When everything gone dark, Jin saved them by time travelling. We can see he got time travel powers in Jin Love Yourself: Answer Epiphany trailer. The rain once goes down but after he did something the rain goes up again. And then you can see Another Jin. So Jin saved all of them. But i kinda messed up with The wing's episode and Blood, sweat and tears which is kinda diffrent kind of topics. But i think it must be consequences of Jin's action at the last part of Blood sweat and tears. Anyone knows anything abt it?
