I'm a huge fan of Kev Mac and all of the "Hood" stories he takes time to bless us with. But this particular story TO ME was the deepest of all the ones if watched. I had an older brother that actually passed away from his injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in 1974. I was only 7 at the time and just a couple months away from turning 8. My brother only lived for 15 days after his accident in Pomona, CA. His then girlfriend was 4 months away from having his baby. Our family went through a lot afterwards. I went through even more cause I'm the youngest and me and my older brother had a real special connection. He was like my big super hero. And now he was gone. Took me a very long time to accept his death. My mom went through it too. My older brother and I don't have the same fathers, yet we look just alike. I'm taller though. Kev this story damn near had me going in another direction listening to the emotions you were saying your mom had after seeing the damage to your brother's car. I just knew after seeing the car, there was very little chance this particular story was going to end well. No lie Kev, I started praying bro. Hoping that somehow someway this story would end with a miracle. And low and behold, just what I was personally reaching for, came to be. Bro I'm so glad life didn't end with your brother when that car crash happened. Love and respect to you Kev Mac. To your family and friends alike.

Great comment. In loving memory of your brother. I agree with you fully about your big brother being kinda like a superhero. This story was very relatable to me as well. My brother was killed in a violent accident as well in 2002, I was just 13 when he passed. He was only 21. He would always take care of me when I was sick and would make sure I ate. If I hadn't, he'd make it happen. It was hard to accept that he was gone. It was even harder for my poor, hard-working, loving mother. Like you, I was hoping for the best, and there was a miracle in his brother's survival. Thank God. I had a joyful laughter when Kev said his brother woke with a signaling hand gesture. I was very happy😄
