Knaisseh Village - Lebanon | ضيعة الكنيسة - لبنان

Knaisseh is a Lebanese village located in the Baabda Caza of Mount lebanon, Nestled at an altitude of 650 Meters above sea level.
The word Kneisseh is from Syriac origin Knisheh, that means assemblies.
Located on a narrow hilltop, in the middle of a beautiful pine forest. Knaisseh has kept its rural charm, similar to all the villages in the region, which is reflected by Saint Anthony old church and Saint Elias Antonine monastery, with its welcoming places, the many nice stairs and streets, the red-tiled houses and the hiking trails in the forest and valley. The village offers the visitor the opportunity to walk in a bucolic setting between pines and and escape into nature towards the river at the bottom of the valley.

What an amazing beauty lebanon has. And it is especial in the Middle East. Despite the problems that it is going too right now. Why is it especial. Well it has the best looking people, tastiest food, prettiest Arabic language, sence of humor, the folklore is amazing, the best looking country and I am proud to be called Lebanese. Lebanon, you were, you are, and you will always be unique. And no matter what you go through you will remain unique. Just imagine walking in these abundant villages that lebanon has and listen to Fayruz ,Sabah wadih El Safi, Nasri Shamseddine, Salwa Qatreeb and others. Lebanon you always keep us young no matter how old our age becomes. Thank you and always stay safe.
