@D Heine I don't think she was, although she did sing in an Ozzie and Harriet episode with Ricky Nelson. I'd never heard of her but that performance on here was certainly...interesting. Per IMDB I wonder if this was her last TV credit.

Like the banter between Reynolds and the ladies. Sadly, you would never get away with this type of humor today and it is really entertaining to watch!! Take me back to the 60's and 70's!!

I like seeing the live commercials with Doc and Ed. Doc does an Alpo commercial. Ed did a commercial for an album that has some classic moments from the show. It's cool to see Burt as the host. I wish that Antenna TV would show some of the guest hosted episodes.

This was a day after Jack Benny's passing. Johnny Carson took the news real hard as he was his idol. When he returned the following week instead of a monologue, he paid tribute to Jack by showing his last appearance on the show.

There is a tonight show episode from 1968. Guest host: Joe Garagiola, guests Talula Bankhead, John Lennon, Paul McCartney. Apparently the tapes were destroyed by NBC. There was some Beatles fan in one part of the country that made an audio recording of the show and there was another fan in another part of the country that shot home movie footage of their television. A third fan married these two recordings and put the result up on youtube but it is incomplete. If you run across a recording of that show you would be considered a God among Beatles fans..

Was "Celebration" (after 1:20) a syndicated New Year's special? After 28:25, there's a general news promo with "Part Of Your Life" (by Mayoham Music). Did KNBC also use that within the newscasts? Finally, at the very end (around 30:45), there's a full promo for the one and only "Diamond Head Game".
