Jonathan -you're the best professional golf instructor/coach I watch on KZbin. Your explanations offer such clarity on how to correct positions, swing, etc, and therefore how to improve As a high handi-cap golfer, I'm no longer thinking of quitting because my game was so disappointing. You've changed my golf game. Just following a few of your corrections made such a difference. Thank you for your excellent lessons.

Spot on! You cover exactly the mistake I was making (straighten my trail knee in the backswing). Took your video and advice to the driving range and the result was day and night! Thanks a lot!

I really appreciate the work you put in to help all golfers who watched your videos. You're the best of all out there. Your contents should be a prerequisite for new golfers. I wished I had found your videos earlier when I started out, could've save me from a lot of bad golf in the early days.

Tried it, defeated the enemy yesterday! 🤣 Your ability to convey how to succeed, through proper technique is unmatched! I'm totally impressed by your eloquence. Thank you so much for this lesson! I'm sloshing around on a course in Southwest Tennessee, even in the winter mud thanks to you, I'm still hitting most balls much more flush. For me, this lesson is definitely a game changer. I would like to thank you very much Mr. Johnathan Kim-Moss, you're the best!

Hi Jonathan, I starten with Golf half year ago of the age of 60 and watched already a lot of Videos. I really appreciate your calm, clear and extremly helpful lessons and hints. I know it is still a Long way to go for me but with this kind of support I reach my targets. Many many thanks from Germany (near Frankfurt)

Jonathan, another excellent detailed lesson. Your strength in presentation compared to others is making your specific point clearly and repeating it so the viewer really understands your point. I enjoyed 6 lessons at Golftec here in Phoenix last year and it was a tremendous help. Have been working on my swing now for a mere 60 yrs. but seriously in the past 20. A long time over-the-top guy and when the tempo is right I now flush it down the line. As for the knee movement, what I learned at Golftec was in the take away instead of letting the left (lead) knee move inward to the right, move the left knew somewhat straight forward with a slight angle to the right. What this did was noticeably reduce the backwards sway and lead to more solid contact. I also use a stack-n-tilt setup with about 60% of my weight on my left side at take away. This leads to less backwards shift and makes it easier to shift the lead hip towards the target in the downswing. Both the weight distribution and straighter knew movement has lead to move consistent ball contact. Great work young man.

Johnathan: I have been using some of your methods and I like your approach of "suggesting things" and "consider" other things. I have adopted many of the suggestions you make and believe that my golf is improving or will improve when I can start playing again in the spring. Over the last several years I have looked and downloaded videos from Top speed golf, Mike Malaska, Danny Maude, Rick Sheils, Rob Cheney, Steve Johnson, Paul Wilson, Kirk Junge, Golf Test Dummy, etc. when looking at the different online instructors I see some different approaches and most of them. I can glean something out from. Some of what Malaska approach is differentiating between something like a knee position at a certain place in the swing is not the cause of a proper swing but the result of a proper swing. Don't get me wrong, I am not a great golfer and I have no pretense in knowing what a proper swing actually is. Sometimes I wonder if a good swing is developed and is not expressed in absolute terms by any online instructor. As a former designer and project engineer I am just trying to understand the swing and this is more of a question than a statement. I started out last year with a single plane swing and I think I still have some aspects of that in my swing. I started with you in "Stack and tilt" when I was trying that. I am not trying to criticize but wonder about all of the positions of things during the swing with is more of a streaming thin than a series of distinct positions. Let me know what you think. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Mistake #1 guy and your right I'm constantly trying to just fix the issue by focusing on the knee and hold it out and not the cause my hips. Great tip!

After decades of a "just okay" swing, I learned that I had an incorrect knee bend. I started bending the left knee more on the backswing and tilting the shoulders toward the ball. The downswing is started better with a straightening of the left knee and better hip turn. The ball striking is much more consistent. One of the best results is that my back feels great and I end up with a pose where I am facing the target like a pro.

I’m definitely the third player I always find myself locking out my trail leg and over, flexing that lead knee which causes me to dip my head in the backswing and come up in the downswing and I still can hit it really well I wonder what would happen if I flexed less. Can wait to try it out

I definitely straighten the back knee and it causes a reverse pivot. When I first started, an instructor really hounded me to keep my weight on my front foot and it caused some bad habits to develop through the swing, as I wasn't loading on the back foot enough. Hard to change, but this helps me realize that I need to keep some more flex in that back leg.

Great video, thx, now to implement it! Any thoughts on this - I have a long term bad habit where both knees increasing flex as I start the takeaway, with the result that club path starts incorrectly & correction needed etc, daft really as makes the path the club needs to take more complex than if I didn’t do it. Playing off 3 having got back in to golf last year at age 53, really want a solid long game to give me a solid foundation to improve. Any suggestions? I also have too much lateral movement. Thx👍
