Heart wrenching watching this poor soul for what she had gone through!She truly loves those eggs and trying to incubate!😢 May she rest in peace without pain and in a good place! They are a pair of lovely couple who had to go through such a tragedy!😢 Hopefully Alex will be free from illness and live his best life! Thank you Lady Hawk, this is beyond tragic for both the beautiful eagle we lost and the viability of the eggs, as their future is grave. Hopefully a necropsy will determine what caused her untimely death, and that her mate Alex remains well.🙏🏻😢🦅

Soooo so sad, what a beautiful eagle mom she was taking care of those eggs in that state. That’s what being a mom is, My aunt just passed away and at the funeral, my mom and sister were upset and crying and I felt I had to keep it together for them or they’d have been more upset- I know my sister and if she saw her brother sad it’d have made her cry and probably my mom too, but when my cousins gave their speech and said their mom always only cared about them even, in her terrible shape it made me so close to breaking down I had to bite the inside of my cheek to hold back the tears because I know my aunt was like that, and I know my mom is like that too and I thought how horrible it would be if something ever happened to her. Thank you for sharing Lady Hawk, I hope the data can be useful for them to help save an eagle in the future who is in the same predicament

I am so sorry. When i watched video, i heard gun shots. Eagles near me have gotton real sick or died from lead poisoning. They eat something that has been shot. Or they have died also, eating something that has been poisioned. I wish people took more precautions. So nature and people do not get hurt. This is so sad.

I also did not realize how long she had been off of the eggs... was more than 3 three hours during the day and even longer that night,.... bless Alex his little heart. Thank you for your videos Lady Hawk. I’ve mentioned this before and other people have been making the same comments now. I believe that Andria ate something that had been poisoned somehow. Poor little angel Andria 💔🦅 she suffered so much. I wish they could have helped her right after she showed these signs. But, what I wish even more is that people stop causing so much pain to animals. I’m pretty sure this tragedy was caused by a human action. Ok, I’m just blabbing and unfortunately there’s nothing that I can do to stop this 😩

He’s trying. He was still on the nest the last time I checked, for overnight duty. I’m not sure if he ate today or not and he’s been having trouble with intruders at the nest. The eggs were also not incubated for long periods of time and they may not be viable any longer. I’m also just waiting to see what happens next and pray that Alex doesn’t get sick also

He’s been at the nest but has been off it to much. Another female came to the nest covered the eggs with nesting material and stayed by the nest till Alex returned. The consensus is the eggs are gone. It’s been interesting.

I guess I am biased, coming from a medical background, but why she and the eggs were not IMMEDIATELY attended to in sight of this seizure activity. If she had been a human, she would have been. I know this is a personal opinion, but I am sure others are wondering the same thing. It is sad to know she died and that her eggs will unlikely hatch😥😥😥😥

@@dawnpowers6233Absolutely they were hatched but we can keep our talons crossed for a miracle. There was another nest in a prior year where a single parent did the hatching. Also if it was something human caused that killed her permission can be quickly granted to intervene.
