OKC bench scored 44 pts vs Knicks bench scoring only 5 points😂 OKC played their entire bench and rotation. Every team plays or use their entire 15 men EXCEPT Thibs. Look at box scores from other teams. In playoffs, Knicks universe can come to grips with a tighten rotation but in regular season? There’s like 5 others sitting on bench doing nothing and getting paid courtesy of coach

The Knick starting 5 play too much. Look how physically exhausted they were in the 4th quarter. Their bench may not be " trustworthy " in the coaches eyes, but unless he uses them he will create injury and exhaustion and they WILL NOT beat top teams like Oklahoma and others.

We got exposed. We have no bench. The players that might be able to help off the bench Thibs doesn't trust. We have no chance at the chip with Thibs as the coach. Also, I don't get how teams can foul Brunson on and off the ball so much and it's never called. He gets bump, banged and backed non stop soon as he passes half court.

These are all learning lessons, J B is used to having the Ball when the game is on the line, So he played ISO Ball at the end. Gotta learn to be a fasillator and get the ball out of his hands, This is all apart of the evolution of this Team!

@@rabeechowdhury 10th in points scored so they are well above league average. NY scores 2 more a game not that much different. Defense 103 to 110. And NY has played much easier teams overall. So that 110 is probably not as good at the number says it is. OKC has played 12 teams under 500 NY has played 20.

Thibs not planning strategically. After playing OKC they play Chicago the following day. He should have played everyone on bench to help so starting 5 is not gassed. They look exhausted playing young OKC. They will definitely get blown out by Chicago with the entire starting 5 tired. He has ego issues playing the bench. Got to let that go especially with a back to back the following day. Can’t limit your rotation to few guys otherwise comes playoff time, starting 5 will be gassed out unless they improve conditioning. The flow of game is bad when your captain is holding the ball too long allowing opponents to set up in half court offense. Need to swing the ball quicker to others so the ball moves around. Other teams swinging the ball quicker and pushing the tempo faster while JB holds the ball way too long eating lots of time off the clock depending on 3 ball way too much. Knicks need to play D! When KAT and Mikal came on to the Knicks, no one plays D anymore. IHart and Divo was that defense they lost like Hart mentioned. OKC was blowing by them for easy layups and no defense beyond the arc

I get the Thunder is dynamite. New York had them dead to rights with a 14-point lead. JB was playing hero ball and wasn't passing teammates. I get we didn't have Deuce. Thunder didn't have a rim protector and athletic freak in Chet and a perimeter defender and 3-point shooter in Caruso. It was a Wiggins whirlpool of wrath on the 4th. It was an Alexander avalanche in the 4th and SGA slammed the door on us. Dort put JB in a shipping box. J Dub and I Hart spearheaded the comeback. OG and MB were stupendous in the 1st half and went ghost in the 2nd. KAT played tough in the 2nd and 3rd quarter and turn into a pussy KAT in the 4th. Payne and Shamet were MIA. Hart had no real impact. The Knicks got Thunderstruck in the 4th. Onto the next game.

Check the game stats between Knicks and Thunder. Thibs burntout Knicks starters with over 40 minutes playing time each of them. They don’t have enough energy at the 4thQ. Achiuwa play for only 8 minutes. We aren’t going to survive in the playoffs with this kind of couching by Thibs.

It was a Wake up call because Thibs didn't see how tired they where. He should have put Cam Payne in the game or made substitutions. Brunson is not good down the stretch in clutch moments look at last years playoffs.

JB has docked the boat several times. If he was tired, hurt, off, that's ok, it happens. Ball should of moved a lot more, as mentioned MB and KAT should have been involved in the second half, especially in the 4Q. Once OG went down hard, it looked like he wanted no part of contact on the offensive end. Payne and Shamet look extremely tentative. OKC match up hunting with Brunson for sure but Payne was not holding anyone down either, he looked very light and soft out there. OKC is #1 in the West for a reason. As mentioned on the MSG post game - 3 point shooting in the 2nd half was telling, OKC made the 3's and the Knicks did not.

A few games back we seen the whole team struggling against the wizards, 2nd half brunson put the team on his back and gave us a double nickel. Now okc is way better than the wizards and Brunson tried to take over and gave us a lose we could have easily won with a good lead going into the 2nd half. That was poor awareness by Brunson, poor coaching by Tibs to not put a stop to that garbage, and poor defense. As a leader JB needs to know when to get his guys going and when he had to take over. KAT needs to be more of focal point on offense late in games. He's a willing passer that makes plays for himself or others. Especially when there is a size mismatch. Brunson always going iso from top of key is not as effective as last year. Bad offense this year. Opposing teams plan for it. Knicks are better team when Brunson is more of a facilitator and not always playing hero ball.

Smh, still misdiagnosing the problem bruh. Still ignoring Kats poor interior defense, even tho it's beyond obvious all year, and all teams are targeting him for it. It's the root cause. Switching, drop coverage to protect kats weak spots doesn't work against the best teams. Even if both teams can't miss, It's always going to come down to defense. Blaming Brunson's offense is madning, misguided, misdirected, misplaced blame. This problem is going to keep haunting us if we don't deal with it properly. Sims and Hokporti could've helped. Marshall is the worst sore loser I have ever seen. We are not going to win every game. OKC played a very, very good second half. The Knicks will watch film, see what they did right and what they did wrong. They will make the adjustments like every team does after a disappointing loss. We win as a team and lose as a team.
