UFC Dana White just offered Embiid an MMA contract. He saw how he throws his knee to the groin of Hartenstein, swings his elbows and saw the knee lock on Robinson. Amazing what he can get away with and still gets the white glove treatment by the refs. He leads the NBA by far in free throw attempts per game. I agree with everyone’s assessment of the game, so what should the solution be for the next game be? Clearly the time off after the last Knicks game has helped Embiid. He’s moving better and he even seems fitter. That said, I still don’t see him being that intimidating shot blocker and defensive presence, so the Knicks need to drive on him and get him into to foul trouble. Do what he does to other players. Although Embiid would probably eat Sims up offensively, I think Sims can play big and force Embiid into committing fouls. The key is to make Embiid have less time on the floor.
