I saw a Knicks team that was lethargic and I saw a wizards team that was energized and that’s why the Knicks are an elite basketball team they found a way to win mainly Brunson and Towns combined for 85 points and Josh Hart with the double double plus the energy down the stretch and OG and Bridges playing lane defense willed this victory!!!! Jalen Brunson did more than scored 55 pts last night. This season he’s realized he doesn’t need to score 25+ a games. But last night he uncharacteristically started aggressively on the offensive side of the ball at the beginning of the game. They were playing back to back and got to DC at 2am that morning. JB knew his guys were a step slower from the demand of previous evening. He step up and left no doubt as to who the leader and captain of this team is. Being on the road and playing a back to back, takes a lot out of a team. Defense takes more energy than offense.

The entire team needs to apologize to Jalen Brunson for making him work so hard to get this win. I dont know what it is about this team, but I hope they get it together. The defense is weak all over the floor, I also noticed that no one is following our shots to the basket for offensive rebounds. Look for yourself and see what I'm talking about. Troy that was one helluva game that we were privy to watch but regardless of the back to back games or the tired legs The Nova Knicks with the addition of El gato grande refused to lose and the rest of the team rooted and joined the team to squeeze by a group of legitimate NBA players( Wizards) this is what it takes to win in the league regardless of officiating not going your way them boyz(Wizards) were playing to upset the Knicks The Knicks grew up as a team last night. Knicks great game offensively 136 pts is crazy sustaining this top 2 offense will be key down the stretch come playoff time. We didn’t play great defense but got great stops when we needed to which is somewhat a great sign. Wizards had a lucky game Knicks were extremely tired and fatigued after playing a scrappy and physical game Friday night vs the magic. 30th in offensive rating and 23rd in defensive rating juts shows how lucky the wizards got they couldn’t stop JB and our incredibley historic offense

Troy I agree with plenty of your critiques… However, I also saw, due to the game coming off of a previous game the night before against Orlando, I just thought our starters looked lethargic and perhaps, Landry Shamet, Pacôme Dadiet, and Tyler Kolek could have helped much more giving the starters more time to rest, rather than by although, Brunson he had a really great game, he looked super fatigued by the end of it… I hope deposits like this although, they look phenomenal in stats, I hope it doesn’t take a toll on Jaylen during his post season body ready availability. To me, games like this continues to scream Tom needs to better manage starter minutes.
