Sorry but that deal is a steal...for Golden State. They get Mitchell Robinson in his prime and they also have other centers to cover for any injuries he might have. They get D'Angelo Russell and would be able to withstand the times when he gets cold because they have Andrew Wiggans (who I believe would be able to bounce back next season) and Jonathan Kuminga. I also think that's the perfect system for Russell because the Warriors spread the floor which would make it easier for him to get to the rim or shoot without facing double teams especially if Randle is there. Not only that, they get a PRIME Julius Randle who is one of the best power forwards in the LEAGUE. Why? He can: shoot some 3's, give good assists, finish on pick n' rolls, finish on ally oops, get out in transition, do wizard spins in the mid-range to get off shots like Jalen Brunson and post up. Randle averages the same amount of points (and can average more) than Anthony Davis. Davis defends better sure. But we have shot blockers already. Randle rebounds just as well as AD and sometimes even better. He's the 2nd coming of Zach Randolph but with more athleticism & less defense. Randle needs to be respected. If he was on Minnesota last year, they would have gotten past the Dallas Mavericks. If he was with Steph Curry, Golden State would have gotten out of the 2nd round. He's a top all star (borderline superstar) just like Jalen Brunson. Neither are superstars but they're really close. As for Anthony Davis? He is very good...true. But that's when he's on the court. And if he gets injured it's over. We wouldn't have a starting center OR a power forward because we gifted both of them to Golden State. The Knicks don't need to get a superstar center. They need a backup center or a starting center such as: Wendell Carter, Walker Kessler, etc. The media said that we couldn't get OG Anunoby or Mikal Bridges and the team got both. So why can't we do the same when it comes to center? I have no idea why they didn't go after Myles Turner when they gifted Obi Toppin to Indiana. He's the type of center that they need. But Wendell Carter is too. Carter can: shoot 3's, give assists like Isaiah Hartenstein, defend and score. This trade helps the Lakers, sure because they get Steph Curry who is still a superstar. But they would be losing a good center / power forward. Who would they replace him with? How would they deal with Giannis, Porzingis, Al Horford, Mitchell Robinson, Myles Turner, Victor Wembanyama, Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic?

Even though i like Randal, making a trade for Davis I'm in favor for. Davis is better at Defense and way better rebounder. Both players have equal offensive production ( PPG ).
