this is the only channel i have watched that has a benchmade with ats-34 steel i have an older benchmade in my small collection with the same steel just an older model. great knives they all look amazing and nice to have i loved the video

I JUST got out of customs, large 21 and small 21 , Medford, and heeter.mow, but now buying th knives I like so back to The Manual Socom, Microtech stitch (In the works), A big Snider, hinder, and would LOVE a Dwain Carrilo Aircat Rhino that doesnt have issues and ofcourse Full size Predatorian TI.. 😍

Bit Rage I carry at least two daily so I can have some variety to my fidgeting but also so I can get reviews and other content out. I’m trying to grow the channel but am having a hell of a time with it. Either way, I get to handle a bunch of knives, so I can’t complain! I’m loving my new Hinderers and CRKs (I even have a new one I haven’t shown yet) but I have so much love for my Microtechs and other good, solid knives.

@@TripleEEDC yea i usually like my "main" to be overbuilt kind, and then a more simple disappear blade like Sog Flash 2 tanto, CRKs have been pretty impressive from my experience, I started at 8 with a freakin Rambo 3 253" bowie (bday present) and i lovvvvveed it even tho the bottom leather tie made me run like forest..🤣 keep up the great work!👍👍

Bit Rage yeah. I generally go with something like a Hinderer, we, socom, or Contego and then something smaller and lighter like a Bugout or 940

Great stuff! Digging that Protech magic 2. Got my first Kalashnikov and man does that thing fire out hard. Love it. And my favorite zt, the 0220. I have a gpknives exclusive with blue backspacer that matches the blue in the zt badge. Never would have bought it with the orange backspacer. I had that yojimbo with m4 and jade g10 and sold it. One of my sale regrets. Had a carbon fiber roxi but returned it. The scales felt sharp at the edges, but I love the look of it. Might buy it again and give it another chance. I haven't gotten into balisongs yet, thinking about getting an inexpensive decent trainer to get started. Any recommendations? I just found your channel yesterday and subbed immediately. We definitely have similar tastes. I have the Chimera in black with bronze accents. That thing deploys with authority! I sold my smoke tm-1, I could never get that front flipper deployment down. I have a straight edge SOCP folder, the cf elite is so nice. Recently bought the knifejoy exclusive spyderco smock in smooth g10, 20cv. When it first came out, it didn't really speak to me but figured I'd try this version. It has exceeded my expectations. Bigger than it looks on videos, which is a good thing for me. And lastly, I won first prize in an LTK gaw, a Kansept cryo in black ti and black wash blade, s35vn. I was unaware of this company but it's a very good quality knife. First time I've won anything. Sorry for the long comment, i just love talking knives. Looking forward to more of your content.

You just reminded me that I need to do another collection update. I don't have half of those knives anymore and have a ton of new ones. The Chimera's deployment is one of the best deployments of any knife I have ever held. I liked playing with the Smoke but didn't really like it for EDC since the blade was so short height-wise, so I sold it. I am thinking about getting an SOCP folder in cf-elite, but I don't really need two of them. Still, I like the knife. Congrats on your LTK win. I am really curious about Kansept as a brand. I may check them out at some point.

I really wanna get a pelican case but some of my knives I have to store open and it just kills me with my OCD thinking about storing knives closed like that Boker Kalashnikov you have in there thinking about the spring waring out but something like a 940 I wouldn't worry about being closed because it's not under tension if you feel me

How's the consistency of the fit and finish on your Benchmades? I've had issues in the past with blade centering and very uneven grinds.

I’ve never had anything too bad issue-wise. I had two Griptilians and a 940 That had some axis lock stick, but those wore in nicely and the issues are completely gone at this time. Other than that, all of my Benchmades have been great (and I’ve had a lot of benchmades).

Thank you! I always hear stories about omega springs breaking but I’ve owned literally hundreds (yes, hundreds) of Benchmades and I’ve never had a single omega spring break. Even if one did, their warranty would cover it, so I never understood why people are so obsessed with bashing omega springs.

@@Dannyv1987 Yeah, I think people repeat stories they hear over and over. Maybe some do break, but they seem to be pretty rare and like I said before, Benchmade's warranty is amazing and would cover any issues. I think some of the criticism Benchmade gets is more about politics (which people seem to misunderstand) than about the actual knives themselves.

What’s your favorite flipper?

I think my favorite flipper is the XM-18 3.5 inch (Gen 6). My second and third favorite are a little more out of the box. I really like the Berg Baldes Iron Wolf and Hoback Snecx Buster (not necessarily in that order). The XM-18 is great for EDC but the other two are larger knives so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them as a first EDC choice. I also really love my ZT 0392.
