I found issues with the prototype and haven’t seen the replacement yet. Once that arrives and I do my testing you might see it appear 😊

I bought one of their maxx extreme and it was a bit heavy and thick in the cutting edge for me but that was before i knew what i needed. I designed Echo with KHHI and it's fantastic. That's all I've owned of theirs. If i design another for them I'll own another 😉

@@crez1988 I probably wouldn't. If i were to buy a scourge khukuri I would buy it from Kailash Blades and I'd buy the anniversary edition as it has far better blade geometry compared to the original. I was just posted away from Sydney this year. A shame, it is always a pleasure to meet other khukuri enthusiasts.

@@sundogforgebydml1050 Yeah I was referring to kailash scourge. I just got a midnight scourge from KHHI, I liked it but talking to Andrew, I'd much perfer kailash's custom options and company motto

@@crez1988 Andrew is a great guy. I got talking with him at Sydney knife show and i love what he's doing for his team and the community in general both in Nepal and Australia. I hope I'll get another chance to see him again after COVID-19 calms down a bit.

Cheers, impressive design. Just discovered your analyses while searching for reviews of Madras Arsenal Kukri. Your journey has exposed you to so many knives since then, how does the MA Ang Khola stand up against the competition? Would you buy it again/recommend as a first Kukri?

Thank you. To answer your question, the MA Ang Khola is still something i would recommend as a first khukuri if people were set on it. The main khukuri was outstanding both heat treat and edge geometry. It falls over with its accessories and scabbard though. If the maker did a lighter better scabbard and more functioned accessories, I'd consider buying again

Good to see that he does actually deliver to some people i ordered my knife well over a year ago and have tried to get an update multiple times with no response it was meant to be a fathers day present for my first fathers day but I guess that ain't happening

That’s ok, I have designs with most Khukuri manufacturers in Nepal. If you like you can find one you like. If I don’t get answered very soon I’ll be withdrawing my designs from there and finding another manufacturer.

I like yo idea. I saw DK&K doing something like it too. I was wondering when someone was going to start adding to the scabbard for EDC knives. Bottle opener, what a great idea! Looking forward to it.

Will you be adding an EDC knife to your designs in the future? A 7 inch Bowie type blade with a 4-inch handle, too small for you but perhaps you could make that customizable 😁

The issue with adding larger EDC knives is the weight it adds to the package as a whole. I can absolutely do it but it really depends on how the blade is going to be carried.

I apologize. I had a khukri in mind when I was talking about your. I plan to carry it just behind my right hip. Military scabbard. Your knife I would only make the accessory pouch a better leather for fire starters. Get knife.
