Mr. Miller, I would really like to see you making a polish sabre. Thanks you.
@SeemsLogical7 жыл бұрын
I always like watching you make these blades, you're pretty good at doing these. You even got the notches at the base on the blade included on there which is nice to see. My only critique is that you neglected to carve out those ridge rings into the middle part of the handle. Those rings fit between your middle and ring finger and help with keeping your hand from moving up and down the handle which keeps successive chops more accurate and comfortable.

frankly the best video on the Kukri I've seen. my son wants me to make him a Kukri, your video gave me much inspiration. I'm fighting with myself whether to make a more traditional or embellished with several materials in the handle.

the lower half of your blade (closest to the handle) wasn't at critical temp. when you quenched. did you think the check the blade for hardness before doing the handle? other than that it's great.

@dr.hiralvaidya67205 жыл бұрын
Pretty good job man. You have forged a traditional Indo Nepalese multiutility weapon with a great historical accuracy. The only difference is that the kukri handles had a through tang and the handle material was usually a buffalo horn or a yak horn. And it used to have a fuller near the spine which is called " KHOL"in Nepalese language.
@bradlutes63707 жыл бұрын

U are very creative and cool
@ztheblacksmith4 жыл бұрын
I noticed that when you hot cut off the tip you whacked the hot cut hardy and that dulls the hot cut hardy and dents your hammer. Instead when you get close brake it off with a pair of tongs.
