Real knife making = Alec Steele, of you're interested in the trade this young man will teach you every you want to know about forging and grinding and measurement and heat treating etc... he's a bit boring with the materials he uses the industry norm, basic cheap shit but a shit forged knife is still better than the best cut out always

what kind of steel is that? because you never heated it up too soften it before grinding.. is it mild steel? mild steels not gonna Harden very good

hee nate speights, the belt grinder is doing a good job! with a miele engine is he blasting the metal away, the brass oin the end is just for fun! bicouse is look nice with polishing

It looks like the dimpling was an after thought, since you spent so much time polishing the entire blade before dimpling. Overall though, I think it looks really cool.
