​@@kpsiexvery late but yes! (Mostly) its engineered so tiny that its the thickness of a bare copper wire! It glows from heat coming off it being eletrified. And if thats not deadly enough it has an edge controlled by the user.

To be fair, this is a pretty low-tech version of a monowire. The game's monowire is very thin so it's very sharp. The cyberware also has controllers to extend and retract the wire making it easier to control more like an actual whip and not a lasso as they're doing here. Realistically of course, we don't really have anything that fuctions like CP's monowire.

Except for the fact that people with monowires in cyberpunk have cybernetic arms and also it's used less like a whip and more like an electrified garrote wire, even when using it like a "whip" it's intention is to cut not cause damage with force
